Not really. She was under water so I'm not sure how much the sun was "charging" her batteries. I think they're just going with the angle that she matured at an earlier age then Clark.

Retarded. It even sounded like they had to throw his voice to make him sound older. Bring back David St. Hubbins as Perry White, I say.

I think it's a maturity thing. Clark is very immature. That's why he's still mooning over his jr. high school girlfriend.

Very solid episode. I was really surprised, and happy, that it wasn't Lex Corp that nabbed the ship and the crystal.
I'll also admint that as much as I hated the though of Chloe being dead, since she was some important after her first "death", we may have been better off had she died.
I know, I know. Something's off though...and I don't know what. Maybe the writters are intentionally doing that. However, her death really would have meant something since she was the closest to Clark. Course, now he has Kara and also Lana will be back.
Anyway, I've seen every episode, but what did I miss? How the heck was Clark talking to the Fortress?! I thought that entire thing died a few seasons back and he never found a way to get it working again...?

Hmmm, I seem to remember a reference in the comic about there being something in the ship that produced Yellow sun radiation while she traversed space and stayed in suspended animation. But I can't find it so I'll just have give it to you guys that they're going with the "Girls mature earlier" line for now.

Very good episode. I really like the addition of Kara. Love the animated Jpeg's Patman! I'm very curious to see what's going to transpire with Lana next week.

I think some of you are getting a little too nit picky complaining about Laura Vandervoort's face. I think she's an attractive girl. Maybe they could have casted someone more well known than an unknown Canadian actress, who knows? But, I like what I see with Kara so far.

Katie Cassidy (Ruby on Supernatural) looks more the part of Supergirl in the face, but she ain't got the body for the skimpy outfits for Supergirl. Vandervoort was probably the best candidate with the combo of acting/face/body during the casting call period.

I liked a lot of this ep, except for the Lana stuff (God I wish they had really killed her off) and the new editor. Have Lex stop pining for Lana and start being EVIL and have Perry White show up this season and I will be a happy camper.

If Kristin Kreuk wasn't so God damn beautiful, I would be all for getting rid of the Lana storyline. But, I love seeing Kristin every week no matter how annoying or grating the Lana gets.

See, I think it's just a psychological block on Clark's part. We've seen him in evil Clark mode and he can fly. He "jumped" up to that launching missle and the second episode of the entire series opened with him waking up to find himself hovering above his bed. Add that to his already stated fear of heights and the awkward, sheepish looks he gives Chloe when she tells him to "get on" the flying thing, and I say he's perfectly capable of launching into the sky, he just needs to man-up and do it.

John Glover won't be back for a few weeks due to his stint on Broadway.
What were the pics Chloe was looking at? Are Lex's experiments from last season going to be this season's FOTWs? Kryptofreaks, then Phantoms, and now...Lexisms.

I am actually looking forward to how they develop the Chloe line. Lana...she's getting a bit whiney for me. And Supergirl, I don't care for her but it should be interesting to see if they 'goes bad'. Like Clark's father seems to believe.
