Another solid season finale for The Office.

Kevin's reply to Holly when asked what he does: "I do the numbers." Then his immediate talking head: "Holly sooo wants to bone me!"

Ryan's undoing, as told by Oscar, "Ultimately it was the beard."

After what happened with Ryan, I'm not letting Andy Bernard and his anger issues anywhere NEAR corporate. I'm also going to tend away from staying young, which takes Jim out of the mix. David Wallace, IF he's still around after having not one but two people directly beneath him go supernova on him, would be wise to go outside hire on this one. The only exception, in my view, would be actually be Dwight. Dwight would go five extra backbreaking steps to avoid taking a shortcut if it meant helping Dunder-Mifflin. Plus, he's grown quite a bit since that time he talked about firing everybody to Jan. He's the best salesman, and is the exact opposite of what Ryan Howard was in almost every way. Plus, if you're only putting him in charge of Michael, Karen, and the other managers you're not going to have the insubordination that the Scrantonites show him.

It's time to make that "special" flow chart a reality. Give him the power. Give it to him. Give him the corporate job. Three. Two. One. Do it. Do. it. DO IT.

all those scenes had me ! I saw that peanut butter scene on Leno and was wondering where it was? Wonder why they cut it and then released it to be shown on late night?

Im predicting next season the show jumps the shark, anytime a baby is brought in that is the beginning of the end for a sitcom.

If Jim takes Ryan's Job and Pam is in Ny for school, wouldn't it make sense that the spinoff is the Jim and Pam show?

In addition to Kevin's own behavior, that could be because Dwight told her that Kevin works there as part of a special work program, and that he is "slow in his brain".

I felt the same way. I was hoping we would get an ep devoted to it.

I knew I recognized Holly from somewhere. It was driving me nuts the whole time.

As much as I loved this episode - it was HILARIOUS - I think that there was maybe a bit too much going and it could've used another episode or two to flesh things out (for instance, as someone else mentioned, Andy just pops out of nowhere at the end). I'm sure it would've been that way had we gotten a proper regular season.

Why is anyone talking about Krasinski and Fischer's movie careers like the show is holding them back? I love Krasinski as Jim, but I just don't really buy him as a leading man. Same goes for Fischer. She's very pretty, but doesn't have the conventional Hollywood look of a leading lady.

I think this was one of the best episodes of the entire series, honestly.

I completely agree, despite my disappointment w/ the quick demise of Ryan.

We can't assume that Ryan's demise will not be explored more in the future.

You know they're going to explore Ryan's demise more. They're not just going to leave it where its at. And he's one of the show's writers, it's not like he's going anywhere.

It was a brilliant season finale. I love how Toby yelled "HEY DOES ANYBODY HAVE A CAMERA!!??. No, nobody has a camera."

I always liked Toby for comic relief and as someone for Michael to pick on. Why did Liberstein leave the show?

Maybe the new show will be a prison comedy based around Ryan. That black guy that was on the show for a short while that had been in prison before, he could end up back there and they could be a duo.

Without a doubt, the Kevin/Holly subplot was the funniest thing ever on this show. Just as someone mentioned before, they didn't have to change any of Kevin's mannerisms or reactions and it still fit perfectly. It was brilliant and had me laughing hysterically.

I assume we'll see some kind of of trial/testimony stuff with Ryan and the other Office people. Kelly on the stand would be gold I think.

A few quick thoughts:

- Lieberstein didn't leave the show. He is a co-EP and writer, that's probably why we didn't see more of Toby during his run, that's a lot of work as it is.
- Remember The Convict? Dunder Mifflin gets money if they hire a convict. I could definitely see Ryan back in Scranton in some ridiculous role (warehouse?)

i was thinking the same thing for the spin-off. has there ever been a sitcom/comedy about jail?

Arrested Development. Well, at least part of that show.

Did anybody else think the 'big sale' Jim made and the e-mail Pam got from the design school could have been an elaborate prank by Dwight? I was expecting a big payoff there and it sadly never happened.

Dwight being a mastermind and pulling off a huge prank on Jim and Pam would actually be a great plot.
