Remind me again... Who's Catherine Weaver? The urinal-1000 chick? The wife who died in the last episode?

As much as I love this show I'm not buying that Sarah spent the entire day cooped up in a hospital and only called John once. We all know that Sarah will go to any lengths to keep John safe and usually that means not allowing him out of her sight for more than 5 minutes at a time or calling him so many times that he ends up going emo teenager on her.

Cameron has already gone screwy once so there's no way in Hell Sarah would spend the entire day away from John with only Cameron to keep an eye on him.

I really liked the episode. It was pretty neat to see where Cameron (Allison) came from. She must be some different kind of terminator though. Since when do terminators cry?

Yeah, I wish they'd spend more time with that part of the show.

I do like the characters, but like others have said, running away from the terminator (like next episode appears to be) each week gets a little old.

I'm interested where they're going to go with Ellison and the urininator. I'm hoping Ellison doesn't somehow end up being partly responsible for the rise of Skynet.

More backstory/future scenes would be super cool though. They've already focussed on future Derek and now future Cameron, so how bout an episode devoted to future John Connor?

Yeah I said the same thing about Shirley in the last T-Thread. What is she doing? Why is she on Ellison's tip about what happened in NoHo*?

This was a great episode for Summer Glau. The backstory aspect was wonderful and it was a nice respite from the chase episodes of the last few weeks (which I love). Really seems a shame the ratings just aren't there for this show. What quirky campaign should the fans have for this one?

I'm kind of confused on the whole April/Cameron thing. April was part of the resistance and Cameron (the robot) adopted her whole life/back story and was using it as her own?

Also, I had a feeling (but guess i"m wrong) that they staged the funeral of that guy's wife just so she could be free from the whole mess that they are involved in.

You mean "Allison" right? Yes. The T-unit did it to infiltrate John's group.

I don't really follow ratings much and since I don't really watch a lot of tv I don't even know what Terminator is up against. Dancing With the Stars maybe?

Is there a more logical day and time that this show should air? Everybody keeps talking about the poor ratings, which usually means the show is doomed, but maybe switching to another day could help.

Yes, she interrogated her to get personal info. The Machines obviously created skin and hair to match Allison's and T-Cameron killed "Allison from Palmdale" and took the bracelet which apparently allows access to John's cell. Remember that T-Cameron's chip has been Wonky for some time now and this is just the latest in a series of glitches....

and future John obviously has to know about Alison so that's the answer to the T unit's "why did he choose you?" and future John would have to have know that Alison would be replaced/killed (hard knowledge for him) and that he'll have to reprogram her to go back to past John. ugh, time travel poo
Wonder if future John ever told Alison what's going to happen?

Wow, I'm usually the one defending the show, but I found this episode unbearable. The Allison story was MILDLY interesting, but only for the possible ramifications. The whole memory loss/psychotherapy/street-urchin friend angle was killing me slowly.

I hope that the terminator next week kills the pregnant chick, becuase that story line has got to go. So let me get this straight... Bad ass Sarah Connor, who gave birth by herself in a South American jungle, who raised John amidst guerillas and mercinaries, who used her time in the asylum to get cock-diesel and who would kill ANYONE, even an innocent to protect John and save humanity's future... THAT SARAH CONNOR.... would be guilted into spending the night at the hospital with her landlady sharing her tragic past? Bullshit.

Ellison's story holds some promise, I suppose, but was the ex-wife storyline necessary? You can't introduce a new character I don't care about, give them some sort of past with a character I barely care about, and expect me to care about the whole subplot!

This was an episode composed ENTIRELY of annoying subplots... the ones I groan at and go make a drink during while waiting for the main plot to resume... only every story this week was like that!

Not to mention the plot holes and logical leaps. Terminators can cry? She's an infiltrator and can fake being human, I guess... fine. But they seriously broke the rules of a perspective-limited flashback by showing Cameron actually having memories from the perspective of Allison. And what happened to the whole phone code thing? I know Cromartie listened in and now knows the date/month thing, but that means they just abandon it all together? Lazy writing.

They also spent a whole episode leading to "revalations" that we already figured out from the opening scene. The only way for that to make sense was to have Allison be a human that they modeled Cameron on. For that to be the case, she surely would have had to kill Allison and assume her identity. I get it, and it's a cool idea. The problem is, when all of that is obvious, you spend the whole episode going, "Get there faster..." You should never be ahead of the story, and that contributed to killing the only interesting aspect of this ep for me.

And where the fuck was Derrick? What does he DO all day when the script doesn't need him to be bad-mouthing the terminator, brooding about how much the future sucks or warning John?

And finally, I will give them credit for one thing - they dodged a bullet with the whole, "There are those of us that want peace," deal. Really afraid for a split-second they were going to take the matrix route with that. I get the high-mindedness of a peaceful detante and learning to co-exist, but these weren't machines we'd turned into slaves and abused. A chess program thinks itself superior, becomes and asshole and nukes humanity. I want a clear-cut WIN at the end of the terminator saga, and all along that's what they led us to believe was going to happen. Thankfully, that ended up just being a deception.

Ugh, maybe I was just having a bad day yesterday, but one of my roommates and I (both avid watchers of the show) were groaning and yelling, "Are you fucking kidding me?!" at the screen the whole time. Just painful to watch.

I don't need terminators kicking down doors and extended chase sequences every episode. I'm fine with personal, character-driven stories. Just stpp sending the "good" terminator on a nutty (which hopefully they are done with - "This is my last get-out-of-jail-free card"), stop introducing annoying side-characters like the the blonde artful dodger or the 800 pound blonde gorilla (maybe just lay off the blondes?) and stop making Sarah Connor such an emotional push-over. And if we could make John slightly more badass and a little less emo-teen-angsty, I'd be fine with that to.

EDIT: Is it standard operating procedure in Los Angeles to stick someone who is having an apparent nervous breakdown in a holding cell with criminals? If so, no wonder the LAPD gets a bad rap.

and didn't they say (when they let her go) that the manager or the owner of the store decided to not press charges.. were they going to charge her with knocking over a watermelon display?
