I think it is the idealist in me. I -wish- the game gave more weight to physical (and mental in the case of thinking challenges) prowess so my preferences lean that way when choosing who I like. Though I don't like him because he acts like a jerkoff, Randy has played the best game so far. He managed to get himself in with a strong alliance of the "other" tribe that he did not start with AND he is a great contributor to winning challenges and keeping his tribe from tribal councils. I have a lot more respect for what Randy has done as opposed to Corinne.

Corinne certainly isn't as intensely "hated" as some in the past, but she does have that annoying egotistical snobbery about her, IMO. Would she be in the position she's in if she wasn't hot (say if she looked more like Susie)? I don't see Corinne as playing a game that is particularly smart. Although it is smart to be in a strong alliance with the numbers advantage, what moves has she made other than lucking into the "in crowd" that has the power position? She could have just as easily been sent home like Jacquie was had the tribe split gone differently. And for the record, I didn't say I like Susie or the game she's playing (I don't). As for Corinne's physical ability, if she has any, she hasn't shown it yet. So your outduel predictions are just speculation. I'd take Kenny over Corinne in any challenge any day. In general, I prefer the physical survival and physical competition aspects of Survivor over the petty highschool popularity contest aspect (although I know both are important aspects of the game).
As far as lucking it out in the tribe switch you can say that about anyone. If it had been Charlie or Marcus in Jackie's place he would have been gone too.
A big part of the game is luck after all. If it wasn't for shit luck Matty would be in a real power position by now I think.
I don't know what he being hot has to do with anything. The reason Suzie isn't in her position is because Suzie obviously rubs people the wrong way (Corrine isn't the only one that said so).
I still think Corrine has the perfect amount of physical ability. Not an overwhelming amount that its noticed and not a terrible amount where she's lagging. She's been taking challenges off more because the rest of the team is so stacked. Charlie has been taking a seat every too. Notice that they intentionally sit her out on reward challenges so she's there for the more important immunity challenges.
I understand its just opinion and that you like physical players more, I just don't understand the hate for Corrine over such duds this season like Crystal, Suzie and Sugar.

Exactly. That is luck having a strong group of players in your tribe that can carry you along by staying out of tribal council. That in combination with the other tribe being pretty inept at winning challenges makes for quite an easy game for Corinne.
Never said I liked Crystal, Suzie or Sugar. Fact is I don't like them, especially Crystal. Susie is a nobody. Sugar is OK in my mind because she did find the HII and backstabbed Ace to put herself more in a power position of the Fang tribe, though it does annoy me she is not more competitive in challenges. The reason for me singling out Corinne is that she is in the power alliance and comes off as a bit arrogant in her position even though she really has done little to secure it. Her being hot/attractive has everything to do with where she is. Notice the original Kota alliance was basically a who's who of beautiful people in the tribe. Add the fact that her occupation is Pharm Sales. She is a salesperson. So it is her job every day to basically make friends and get people to trust her. This and her "nice rack" immediately put her in a huge social advantage. She has no shortcomings to overcome like Dan and his nervous personality or Kenny and his skinny geek physique.

Sometimes I wonder if certain posters wish Survivor was only played by men.
Agree with Goat on the beautiful people comment. Don't forget adorable Paloma. If anything, the divide was caused by Marcus, Jacquie, Charlie and Corinne being like-minded young professionals, whereas Ace is a photographer, Sugar is a pinup model and the other two seemed to be idiots.

People like Paloma, Kelly, Michelle (first girl voted out who actually seemed to be a strong female player) while being very attractive, have reclusive personalities which can easily trump good looks.

That actually might be interesting one time. It doesn't necessarily have to all men. Just get away from the ridiculous model/showbiz sector recruitment and the "quota" type players (the elder player, the gay guy, etc. etc. etc.). Put a bunch of hard core, strong survivalists out there (with entertaining personalities too) and let them kill each other.

Put me in the group of hating Corrine. She's arrogant. How dare Suzie tell her the truth and say she was going to vote for her. It was stupid but Corrine over reacted like she shit in her cereal. I can't wait to see her on the outside looking in. I have a feeling she won't know how to deal with not having the power position.
Kenny has probably played the best game given the circumstances. I guess Randy has played well also but he got the better deal after the mix up.
