Glad Pam is back. And glad Michael told off Wallace, but we'll see if that comes back to bite him in the ass... especially since the next episode is called

Season 3 was plot heavy at the expense of jokes, but this is how to do it right. They put so much plot into one episode, but it never felt dull. And the title of the next show has me chomping at the bit.

This was probably my least favorite episode of the season. I am not a fan of Ed Helms, so having him at the forefront of the episode just did work for me.
Everything else just felt... off. Too much emphasis on Kelly and Ryan. Not much Dwight or Jim. I agree that the secondary characters are well fleshed-out and intricate, but they simply do not work as the focal point for the episodes.

If it works out that way, I think it will be more of a revealing (even to the character) he has always been for that team than anything else. It does seem to fit in with some of what we know about his relationship with Angela, I suppose.

I liked the character development in this one -- especially the potential of an Oscar / Andy hook-up, or just Andy flip-flopping -- but the humor was pretty dry. I kinda liked the Good Will Hunting reference with the drinks. "How do you like these apples?"
I wonder what the heck they're going to do with Ryan once Pam gets back. Sure, he'll get a seat next to Kelly, but what's he going to do?

I guess I didn't catch onto the Andy switching sides thing, I thought he was just being a cool wingman for both his co-workers.
How long before Pam and Jim break up?

I think it's appropriate to say they scarcely hinted at the whole sexual preference thing with Andy. It was so scarce a hint it's hard to say it was even intentional. That's the way I felt about it. I can see where folks are coming from now that they have brought it up.

Pretty plain episode without any laughs at all. Some good looks at the different characters, but Michael went to Canada and managed to play it straight the whole time with even the plane stuff not being very interesting. I expected more hijinks. I did like the sweet moment at the end with Pam/Jim though; they had me thinking it was going to be a shitty way to keep Pam away longer.

Even thought I hate Andy and think he's an obnoxious tool, I thought Ed Helms was pretty funny in this episode.
I thought it was funny that Michael was so mesmerized by Winnipeg Canada. He was only 2 hours away from Scranton by Plane!! The scenes with him and the concierge were kind of a let down as there wasn't much of a payoff.
Thank God Pam's back. Once she mentioned 12 more weeks in graphic design I was like Nooooo!!! I thought the NBC promo with John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer was kind of cute.
