I don't get all the hate for Lil's name. I'm assuming it's short for Lillian. I don't think it's meant to mean "Little" like Lil' Kim. If anything, the judges and Ryan are the ones responsible for making her name seem obnoxious. Not her fault.

I like Scott a lot, his voice is ok, but he's easy to root for and should be a cinch to sail through the next few rounds, he has an embedded fan base already I am sure.

Carla has really grown on me I think she has been a worthy Judge addition and has even raised Paula's game, he responses are at least legible now.

Overall I thought this group was fairly strong, should be a good wild card round

I agree that Kendall fits the niche better. Looking at her closer, she kinda does look like Kristen Chenoweth. She's kinda cute, just not really my type. She kinda reminds me of Kellie Pickler with the quirkyness and personality.

I kinda have to agree with you here. She has the look and sound of hundreds of other black R&B artists. Even if she were to win, she will probably get lost in the shuffle like Fantasia.

Only surprise for me there is:

Last night wasn't as bad as I feared. It helped greatly that the "screamers" (Von and Lil) reigned it in. Even the worst performances were at least bad in a funny way. And I know he's overrated vocally, but I find myself liking Scott. I get the sense he'd just as much not have a big deal made of his "sob story" ... and when AI does focus on it, he has a sense of humor about things. I have no doubt he'll be happily in the middle of the group number, flailing away with everyone else

And for tonight AI ... please, show at least some sense of drama. Don't tease out the whole night only to finish with: "There's one spot remaining ... WHO COULD IT BE?!?? Lil Rounds or Alex Wagner-Trugman?!?!?" From dialidol predictions, it sounds like the close finish between would offer plenty of suspense and drama for them to be the last two in the show.
