I don't watch any reality show, so nothing. I'm ashamed that my wife loves a lot of reality shows though.

I've been watching America's Next Top Model. But that's only because I like the Creepychan/Allison girl that is on there this season.

Huh? Over-enthused fan base?

Mine would be Gossip Girl and Make me a Supermodel.

That is what it essentially boils down to. Do you watch reality TV or not?

What Not to Wear on TLC. I'm a sucker for makeover shows, especially ones with Stacy...

I guess the closest thing I could think of would be Extreme Makeover... I don't know, all TV is pretty much a guilty pleasure imo.

re: Shows you're ashamed (guilty pleasures) to admit you watch

I'm not ashamed of anything I watch, why would I watch it if I were?

I'm sure there are many shows that I enjoy that some may claim I should be ashamed of, but who are they to dictate my television viewing?

What the hell is this "shame" bullshit? If you like something, you like it, and that's it. PERIOD. Anyone who thinks otherwise can go pound sand. So here's the big f-you to all the naysayers, I'm gonna go watch reruns of "Yes, Dear".

These are the same mental cases who insist Nathan Fillion should be cast in every major role. Even if that role was Golda Meir. Or Idi Amin. Or both. Actually, that sounds like a hell of a movie.

I once told a co-worker that Buffy is my favorite show of all-time. He made some jabs throughout that day and the next.

I've seen every episode of Dawson's Creek. Caught some flack over that.

EDIT: Can't forget Smallville. I'm ashamed-- by far the most poorly written and acted show I've ever watched regularly. The first 4 seasons were good enough to hold my interest and make me feel like I'm obligated to see the show through.

re: Shows you're ashamed (guilty pleasures) to admit you watch

I use to be slighty ashamed to admit I watched Reba and own seasons 1-5 on dvd. Melissa Peterman is just too funny as Barbra Jean.

It seems alot of people have the same view I do. I'm not ashamed because if I'm watching, its good, and you should watch it too!

I'm ashamed of myself for still watching Heroes. It's just awful, like watching a train wreck...

Really, does it even matter anymore? All the bitches that cause drama are gone. Now it's kinda boring.

But I know what you mean.

I discovered Degrassi The next generation a couple of years ago in syndication, after watching a few episodes your hooked instantly. Now I have all the season sets on dvd.

Re: Shows you're ashamed (guilty pleasures) to admit you watch

I can't think of any I'd be ashamed to admit to watching to anybody, but people here seem to hate Kath and Kim quite a bit and I liked the show. As for one season sit coms that didn't quite make it, I'd say it was better than last year's Back to You, and I think Kath and Kim actually got better as the season went along (after many here bailed) and Back to You just got worse.

Some people don't understand why I like to watch game shows. Some of my friends hate them all together. Trivial Pursuit is the best new game show on TV right now, hands down. But I am not ashamed to admit I like game shows, but can see why somebody else might be.

Some past shows that I liked to watch back in the day, however...
Blossom
Sabrina the Teenage Witch
The Amanda Show
the first two seasons of A Simple Life (I seriously did not watch any more than just the first two seasons)

But I can't think of anything currently on I am really all that ashamed about.

Saved by the Bell when I was in Highschool, and for some reason I liked Party of Five, even though they had the most outrageous overly-dramatic storylines!
