Scranton Branch:
Sales Force:
4 (Stanley, Andy, Dwight, and Pam)
Accounting:
A whopping 3 accountants for a tiny office
A customer service rep (Kelly)
and what does ryan and creed do?
So, now they need 2 managers of course to support this huge staff!

If I were in Jim's place I would have done the exact same thing. Whatever Michael's reasons were to behave the way he was behaving, at the end of the day someone needs to act like an adult. And if everyone lost their jobs, oh well...that's business. It sucks but no one is going to die from it.
Jim was behaving like a manager.

I was cracking up hysterically at that Creed bit. I couldn't handle it.
I love how he's got one "bit" a show, if that, and that's all we see. No back story, no nothing. It's great.

More like wishful thinking. But I remember reading when the first season of the Office was coming out, Gervais was asked if Brent would eventually make an appearance. He said if the show outlasted his, then that would definitely be an option. For the life of me, I can't remember where I read it (People perhaps or TV Guide), but in the back of my mind I have really been hoping this. Of course, it would change the original Office storyline somewhat. But how damn funny would be be for Brent and Scott to try going up against one another? More than likely to win the title "World's Greatest Boss".
Not that I want to see this show end this season, but I think it needs to take a cue from Seinfeld and go out while it's still doing good.

I heard that the season finale this year will be the paper company goes bankrupt and a new boss from out of town will come in and buy the company out and save everybody's jobs. But there will be a new boss. After all, it's no secret that Steve Carrell wants out. The new boss will be Jay Leno.

But he's also being a real manager and it's good to see him get upset and stand up to Michael's foolishness. It's kind of the same way Jan was but with Jim, Michael can respond back and show us that he's not just an idiot but everything he does has a reason.

My suspicion is Dunder-Mifflin will be bought out. And who knows, maybe the ensuing changes will bring Holly back into the picture.

I came in here to say the exact opposite. I really like Jim as a manager. He's in a different role to keep it all fresh. He's keeping up with the same antics that bring the comedy out of Dwight, Michael, Andy etc.
But he's also being a real manager and it's good to see him get upset and stand up to Michael's foolishness. It's kind of the same way Jan was but with Jim, Michael can respond back and show us that he's not just an idiot but everything he does has a reason.

I agree. Also, I like how the different techniques actually show off some of Michael's savvy, even if it isn't always on purpose.
The murder mystery game helped more than Jim thought at first.
