So there's a gigantic hippie commune on the island.

Am I the only one that expected Hiroyuki Sanada to tear that paper and pull out yet another item from within it?

If nothing else this (awesome) episode is making me thankful that Arzt was blown to bits. I can't stand that guy.

So is the NC timeline gonna intersect with the C timeline? Cos even without Smokie the Locke's speach I could tell they're technically better off in the C timeline.

I bet that some of them are but I also bet that the rest are from different groups of visitors throughout time.

They're the modern-day Others. Cindy the stewardess and the abducted children are there.

I guess Smokie wants to escape the island and the temple holds some secret that either prevents his escape or can facilitate the same.

However, the big question is what or where is home? Are these two outcast Gods who must "win their game" to get to return where they're from.

Two? Do you suppose Hiroyuki Sanada is like Smokie the Locke or did I miss something?

Oh and I hope we don't get a full season of the NC timeline. If the two don't intersect, it's just pointless filler.

He was just great tonight.

The little speech he gave Jack about his father, and the one he gave Ben were just outstanding.

Dammit. My cable went out literally at the last few seconds of the show. Can someone tell me what happened at the very end, after Jack was fighting the guards? I think I know, as I believe someone called it above, but was there any dialogue at the end?

This was a great start.. I willl collect my thoughts and comment on the episodes tommorow.

The chains comment to Richard means, I assume, he was on the black rock.

Great scene with Locke and Jack in the airport.

Terry O'Quinn is a fantastic actor and the reason I first started watching this show.
