Fuck that description. I wanted this to be what it started out being: a commentary on taking away kids' imaginations. You know, like how Timmy had ADD. Instead it was just another disappointment.
And I liked the idea of everyone thinking Chinese and Japanese people are the same. I mean, "Since City Sushi closed, City Wok is the only Chinese restaurant in South Park" was GOLD!
Also I could have sworn Butters said "another sushi" restaurant at the beginning so I thought they were taking us down a sushi place explosion which would have been great. But I guess that's just foreshadowing of the racism (to give the show credit).

This is turning out to be the worst stretch of episodes in years. A few funny quips, but most of the season has felt like throwaway ideas that were initially rejected.

The video of Butters was hilarious. I thought City Wok vs. City Sushi was pretty good as well. However, I think these two storylines would have been better as separate episodes.

I didn't think that the first few episodes were as god-awful as a lot of people here (a subpar episode of south park is still funnier than a lot of other shows).
Last night's episode wasn't "bad for south park." It was just bad.

Funnier than a lot of other shows? Are you comparing them to dramas or something? A shitty episode of this show is a shitty episode, period.

Yeah, while there have been some enjoyable moments this season, it just can't compare to the near classic stretch of episodes they did last season. I think they blew their wad on that (combined with Book of Mormon), and they're just running on fumes right now.

Really bad episode especially compared to the repeat episode they showed before where Butters is a pimp.
Is this the first episode that didn;t have any of the main 4 in it? I don't remember even seeing them at all in this episode.

What a bizarre episode.
This has been the worst start to any season ever.
I wonder if Matt and Trey are tired of South Park and trying to slowly kill of their creation by making it so mediocre no one will care.

I must be in the minority, I liked this episode. I loved the nod to Psycho at the end. Reminded me of when they had the nod to Food of the Gods in the 2 part-er with the giant guinea pigs.

i thought it was better than the previous few episodes, but that's not saying much. more laughs in this one is probably why.
