Re: 30 Rock -- Live Episode -- "Live from Studio 6H" -- 4/26/12
I thought this was a much better episode than the last live episode. There were a lot of great moments. I couldn't believe how many costume changes there were. Maybe I'm not remembering correctly, but I don't remember the cast having quite so many roles last time, especially Alec Baldwin.
It's possible for FYI to be used as a noun. It's done all the time. That would mean this rule should apply:
I work as an editor, and if someone turned in an article to me that uses FYI as a noun, I would use an rather than a. That's what all the rules I've read would indicate.

Great show, I kind of stopped watching this season, but I couldn't pass up their live show. Always so much fun.
ETA: Oh, and when McCartney slapped Jack, I think that was improvised since it seemed to throw Alec off, he kept smiling after the slap.

It's "an" - "a FYI" just sounds wrong.

They should have changed the audience. Lots of the jokes they laughed at didn't get anything in the west coast feed. But the obnoxious cheering for everyone appearance remained.

I was wondering this too. THey didn't just start to make out, as it fades out they are fully lip locked by the time the commercial comes on. I wonder how the audience reacted to that.

Finally saw this last night and thought it was very good. Jon Hamm had me in stitches. That Amos & Andy skit was definitely the highlight of the show. Jimmy Fallon cracking up didn't surprise me, since that's what he always does. Overall, highly enjoyed it.

They didn't go for the make out in the west coast. They just kind of stood there at the end of the west coast version.

I thought it was a fake make out because Jack put a hand up on front of their faces to cover up to make it look like the we're full on kissing
