The method in place is the most popular one and that's why we are using it.
When I tried an alternate method, the game didn't sell out. If you want to start a rival game with another draft method, be my guest.

I totally stand by your method of choosing players, mostly because it was the method I used when I ran the game.

Besides, how do people not get that this is a complete crapshoot? How many times has the person that got in and picked first won? You don't know enough about these Survivors to make any other method that much better.

With that said, there is a 90% chance I have a dinner meeting that night. So leave the scraps for me, I'll pick last.

I can put you on standby, but I'd rather not take pre-registers for the Amazing Race game before the thread goes up.

There will be a double draft again for the Amazing Race game, so you won't be at risk of being shut out.

Also, rumor has it that the Amazing Race game will go up late next Monday night after the Survivor draft. Watch for it.

Ok, I'll keep a lookout for it. I had been checking for the Survivor game, but I went on a trip for a couple days to go to a football game and missed it.

This isn't my favorite way to pick either, but the majority of people prefer it and it works. We did it a different way a few seasons ago and it was just chaos. So Damfino has gone back to this way and I stand by him for it.

Please understand that pooling money and orchestrating this game takes time and is completely voluntary. Personally, I'm very thankful Damfino does this each season or we wouldn't even have a game.

And the point has been made, but it really doesn't matter who you get. The season I won, it was with a last-minute pick that I got after everyone else had already chosen. Two seasons ago, one Survivor wasn't even assigned and she made it to the final three. Pre-season, it's a complete crapshoot.

I just went through the videos on CBS.com and I gotta say: It's pretty much a crapshoot on this one. I didn't think hardly anyone stood out.

I think it'll be a good season, but it's hard to tell from the interviews if anyone might have an edge. A couple are more physically fit than others, but that's not necessarily an advantage...
