They couldn't have simply put "8 years later" on screen? Lazy.

I can't remember the last time I've been this happy to delete a season pass.

I was happy with the episode as a series finale. No way they could have wrapped up all the stories if it picked up right after last week's episode. This at least gave closure to all the characters. I like how it ended with the five of them sitting and laughing together.

How old was Shane supposed to be? Because he still looked like a kid.

Re: Weeds -- 1 Hour Series Finale -- "It's Time" -- 9/16/12

I thought the final scene was contrived and dumb... everything about the last two shows felt disjointed, as if throwing everyone in the show from the past would instantly make us like it... the only chuckle I got out of the finale was the comment about Isabelle being Bruce now

Couldnt they have gotten some real makeup artists to actually make the characters look like they've aged a little, instead of slapping a silly looking mustache on Shane, and coming up with some lame ass remark in the case of Nancy (about her having access to all sorts of breakthrough treatments)

Nancy Botwon should've been killed off. She's fucked over a lot of people throughout the show's run she needed to die.

The sad thing is those were the only two characters they tried to age by either changing their looks or explaining why they look so young. All the other characters looked exactly the same as the previous episode (ie. 8 years earlier).

Wasn't Andy's hair grayer as well?

Kind of surprised we didn't get some wacky twist at the end.

Kind of disappointed Nancy didn't get her ass in the dirt one more time.

Yeah, part of my dislike with the last couple of season was that Nancy simply kept getting away with everything. She'd done so many terrible things to so many people and what happened.......she got filthy rich.

I feel like I have to comment on this final episode.

Horrible show, horrible ending. Seriously, they clearly had zero idea what to do here. It's the apex of the lazy writing this show has suffered under for so long. The final shot was just as bad. So cloying and undeserved.

Jenji Kohan should never be allowed to run a show again.

Re: Weeds -- 1 Hour Series Finale -- "It's Time" -- 9/16/12

Just watched the whole series over a couple weeks. I watched it after enjoying Orange is the New Black so much.

Up until Shane kills the politician lady, the show was gold. You guys say "season 3". I think that up to season 5 was great. Seasons 6-8 turned painful (as bad as The Office). For around half of season 8, I found myself scrolling through the episodes, just to get to the end.

If not for Doug (Kevin Nealon), I might have just skipped to the end. His stories were the only good parts of seasons 6-8. Andy got annoying. By the end, they were just doing the same thing over and over again. The business kept getting in trouble with other businesses. Nancy became a stupid whore and fucked so many different guys. The stuff made me start rolling my eyes.

Neat concept for the finale. But by the end, I just wasn't feeling it.

I really like "binging" on these shows. I feel like I know the show inside and out. Information overload.

Best moment of the series is when Peter gets killed. Dark and gut wrenching.

I'm in the same boat as you Troy. I thought it was great through season 5...but the last three years just went off the rail.

Watching week to week is a whole lot different from blazing through it in a few weeks.

A crappy season is 5 hours....a crappy season watching it live is 3 months.

My wife and I just finished this last night. We're confused on a few things. Why did Yael forget who Andy was and why did Megan hate Nancy so much?
