Re: Survivor: Caramoan -- "Last Push" -- Season Finale & Reunion -- Sunday, May 12th
Watching the show again, Dawn is really a piece of shit. I think she was so pissed that Brenda let the majority have their time with the family rather than poor dawn. Brenda was really hurt by the blinside. I agree with the others who said they could have at least told her she was going. I'm no fan of Brenda, but that was really harsh. They could have got rid of her at any time. Cochran is the only left who I would want to win, but Erik or Eddie would be a funny slap in the face. And Sherri without her "people" really faded into the background.

What Brenda said in her interviews on Thursday was what bothered her watching it happen on TV was that there was no hesitation. She felt really close to Dawn out there, and Dawn cast her aside w/o even a second thought.
Like I said in the last thread, this is a game, and I don't have a problem at all with people making moves to try to win a million dollars. You would be foolish and sentimental to not do so. Cochran was right that Brenda was a threat to win. If Dawn picks that final 3 (Brenda, Dawn, & Erik) she's going to have a tough time b/c Brenda is so sharp of a person. For the record, I believe Brenda would have been able to explain what she was doing and how she was playing a lot better than Erik could.
I don't know how Dawn gets Brenda out of the game while still preserving her vote. What I do know is that she picked the worst possible way.

Go, Eddie, go!
This will be his only chance. Erik & John had been there twice, and John will most likely be asked to play again even if he wins.

Personally I've disliked Dawn from the very beginning. The way she took out Brenda just reinforced that. I just can't stand people who are that wholesome and goody goody. Factor in all the crying and how she has used it as a weapon and she is right up there with Naonka and Rocky as 3 of my most disliked Survivors ever. Matt Elrod is up there too.

Matt Elrod seems like a genuinely nice guy. I would blame the over the top way Producers exploitatively edit very religous people almost into buffoons.

The word is in addition to Brandon Hantz not being allowed at the finale, the pre-jury contestants won't be on stage for the reunion. Also, supposedly Brenda was too far along to fly so she will be skyping in.

But we saw less than a minute of footage and we know Dawn didn't feel badly about having to get Brenda out? Because it wouldn't possibly be in the best interest of the producers to edit Dawn as a villain there?
Again, I hate defending Dawn and I'm still not hoping she wins. But the hate for her is so hypocritical and without logic. Knifing your closest ally in the back is not a good way to win Survivor. But it was not remotely clear that Dawn and Brenda were best buds. Dawn seemed pretty tight with several people, inckuding Cochran and Andrea. So maybe Brenda was there for more moral support. Cochran seemed tight with Andrea, at least she thought so, and he had no problem getting rid of her. No one told Andrea she was getting blindsided. It rarely happens. No one hates Cochran, though. Brenda deserves better because she gave up a reward? Andrea gave up her food reward for the entire group to eat and some of those people lied to her and voted her out. Andrea also seemed like she was the nicer of the two and more socially inclusive of everyone, but when it was her time, it was her time. I haven't wanted someone to win so badly in a very long time, but I still want Cochran to win despite the fact he was, in my mind, not Brenda, mostly responsible for Andrea getting blindsided. I also think he was right to worry about sitting next to her in the final tribal. Sometimes you pay the price for sitting against, or wanting to sit next to the "weakest" players and maybe Dawn lost Brenda's vote. I get that, just not the hate.
Seems like a lot of viewers would make really good, bitter jury members.

That sucks, because there was some seriously nice eye candy this season that didn't make it very far in the game. If Russell is in the audience, after making those threats about Phillip, than I'm totally convinced CBS and Probst create drama that's maybe only 1 step above MTV's The Challenge.

Haven't started watching yet but this poll is fucked if Cochran is eliminated first.

Everyone who voted Cochran must have seen footage in advance of Jeff felatting him in in the finale.

Looks like it's shaping up for Cochran to win in an 8-0 blowout.

Sherris' FTC speech might actually be worse then Amanda and Stephen but I can't help appreaciate her entertainment factor this episode and how as soon as figured she had lost she just kind of owned it and didn't let a lot of douchey rude bitter jurors walk all over her like a lot of other goats.

Wow Brenda. Score settled.
Cochran has the most rational answers that I have ever seen on tribal council. He is a master at this game IMO. Champion.

Nope
After they interview the winner. They will interview Malcolm about his acting gig,Jeff will gush over Boston Rob who is not even on the season and the last 20 minutes will be Phillip telling everyone in the audience what their Stealth R Us nickname will be.

I would gladly listen to what Rudy has to say for the remainder of the show.

I'm so glad Cochran won. I think he'll join Parvati and Boston Rob as my top three favorite Survivor players ever.
