I started watching a few minutes late and my DVR didn't catch the final minute. Can someone just confirm that

Well, just about the LEAST exciting episode in a while, but the (not all together) reveal at the end was interest... No it wasn't. At least next week looks like there's more action.

That said... we had Carol trapped on a bridge with zombies coming from both sides (it didn't really feel like a trap to me since she could just jump in the water, but let's ignore that). But even more importantly, you had the car waded into a sea of zombies such that even after attempting to back up and run over them, there were so many zombies underneath that the drive wheels were off the ground. And they showed the wheels grinding up zombies with blood spatter everywhere. We saw Michonne in Samurai mode. And then the kicker... we saw Tyreese all but totally lose it. I don't think I've ever, in the history of the show, seen someone completely enveloped by a horde of zombies like that and fight their way out without being bitten.
Exactly what kind of "action" are you looking for?

Just started the episode and WTF. Tyresse and Rick at it again? Tyreese needs to learn how to fight. Big man like that and takes a beating...damn

The scene with Tyrese felt like a take on the gymnasium scene in the comic. ![Up](/images/smilies/thumpsup.gif)
Agreed. Unrelated but similar, the scariest part of War of the Worlds (Spielberg) and scene I love, was when everyone was attacking Cruise's car and ripping the kids from the car. Normal, otherwise rational people pushed to the brink.

Mea Culpa... I'm not in it for the action or the zombies... I just like watching how people react when social norms break down and they're pushed to their limits.

Well, that episode was just full of people doing stupid things. Carol, Tyreese, Hershel, and even Darryl.
To top it off, Carl is wearing the stupid fucking hat again. ARGHH!
I did like the scene with the car stuck on the walkers, just not how they got to that point.

What town were they headed for? That looked like a huge stadium.
Glad they didn't drag out the Carol reveal. Although I'm not sure what Rick saw for him to make that conclusion.
The female zombie that Carol kicked down sure got back up real fast.

I think possibly Rick saw that the handprint was smaller and perhaps female when comparing it to his own hand. He also recognizes Carol's selflessness for the group which could possibly go as far as
BTW, Scott Wilson elevates every scene he's in. He isn't flashy but he is a good old school actor who seems to be relishing this late career role. Love his work.

Carl's dismemberment by a pack of zombies would make the show better. Carol the one teaching children to use knives fixes hose within 20 feet of a pack of zombies and BBQs 2 sick people. Not super consistent.
Lets not forget the 50 mile one way drive to what looked like a pretty large city on roads amazingly clear of cars but full of zombies. Like 1000s of them and their solution is to run to the woods. Great plan.

I liked the episode, though I agree it looks weak after the pevious episode, which had lots of action, emotional moments, tons of story development.
