I noticed they really tried to make Simmons more attractive this episode. They changed her make-up to more closely resemble Skye's look.
I guess only true believers in either Marvel or Joss Whedon are left, but I'm still fairly disappointed in how SHIELD is approaching things. ABC must have had a very limited vision and scope for this series. It's a light action dramedy more concerned with the spy agency's bureaucracy than exploring a world filled with superheroes. If I hear another reference to someone's security clearance again, it will be too soon.

So they design a homing beacon to look like a rock so that it can go unnoticed. Then they mount an exterior red light and have it beep once it goes off. Makes sense.
