Ok, I guess I'm just out of the loop, but what's up with the Mad TV feud? Did Alex Borstein get fired from them or something?

Best episode since NBNQ. Loved the Bill Cosby scene. I wonder what direction Meg's character will take now that she is no longer a virgin.

It's not just the song. The whole montage was lifted from that film.

but there have been tons of discussions about kazaa lite and so on before with no problems. If I had asked what a good p2p program is, would that be wrong as well? I didn't mean to disregard the rules. I thought this sort of discussion (although illegal) was all good here. My bad.....

just to clarify, we can talk all we want about p2p programs so long as we don't mention what we're using them for? that makes a lot of sense

It makes perfect sense why we can talk about p2p in general in Tech Talk but why it has no place in TV Talk. As a Presidential candidate, I'm surprised you're so eager to bring negative attention to the site by discussing ways to break the law in public. The policy isn't to piss you off but to protect the site.

I sure wouldn't want a president who doesn't understand why we can't break the law. Why change horses in midstream. IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!

I don't see how it matters then. I realize it's for protection and so that Geoff doesn't get sued or whatever, but if we can discuss certain things on tech talk we should be able t discuss them in tv as well. Something you have failed to do during your presidency and something that the ever-growing support for Planet Dick is all about!

Anyway, I don't really care. I was just trying to help a brother out. Minding your own business would be a good platform for you though.

In Tech Talk, you could be discussing numerous issues relating to the technology itself that are completely legal (note that we still can't talk about breaking the law in Tech Talk). In TV Talk, however, you could only be discussing how to bootleg television shows. The distinction seems as clear as the derailment of this thread and the chances of you getting zero votes after that one pic you posted.

It's not clear. but I don't want to derail it further. Also, you don't have to be so jealous of the pics/replies I've posted. It's starting to make you look bad.

Anyway, I thought the overall episode was pretty good. Hopefully, it'll be on for several weeks in a row now that they've gotten all the Star Wars hype business and Cable Ace Award shows or whatever out of the way. By the way, isn't Arrested Development supposed to come back? They also said that Malcom in the Middle timeslot might be permanent.

Exactly. The product isn't illegal and there are perfectly legal uses for it. But, advising someone to use it for illegal purposes, as was done in this thread, is against forum rules.

Heh heh. Me, too. I've lived in three TV markets in my life (Richmond, DC, Columbus) and they all have had "Showtime at the Apollo" right after SNL. Is it like that everywhere?

Same here in L.A.

I loved the Revenge of the Nerds montage.

Kevin Spacey is obviously gay, and they took that to another level. Not PC but pretty amusing.

Is the "Vegas" CD any good?

It was a little out there. Decyphered:

1) Break into your FOX affiliate and steal it (don't do anything illegal)
2) Time Machine

Just really not a funny way of saying either.
