Aaron has to be the stupidest guy ever. I'm actually glad the nano-kid just told him he could have asked to save his girlfriend instead and basically bitched at Aaron for being an asshole before he left Aaron crying like a little bitch.
Although I fail to see his problem. That's a lot of BBQ for his cannibal ass that he didn't have to cook himself.

This show gets crazier and crazier by the episode. They are really going some far-out places with the nano tech but I don't buy a lot of Aaron's seemingly random mood swings. I don't know if that is the writing or the actor.

Going with Aaron being an idiot. You have access to a power that can heal you and others along with protecting yourself and others and you tell it to go away? I would be it's best friend forever! Thanks for all the help so far, like not being dead, saving friends lives etc... The nano tech AI is still young so they likely can even shut off at some point if they want.
Asking nicely would likely have been better than ordering based on them just wanting to help.

I thought they did a pretty good job with Aaron struggling over becoming a 'vengeful God' versus 'freaked out by the power he had access to'
Personally I had chills run down my spine when he finally decided to just go with it and said 'Kill him. Kill them ALL!'
I agree the direction the writers have decided to go with the nanotech has become a BIG leaping off point but I'm gonna go with it. I actually couldn't wait for this fall finale episode to find out where things were going.

Let me shoot the person that the guy who can fire us on fire with a thought? And that's going to get you anything other than dead? Once that happened I thought, yep, he's really dead.
I'm curious to see where this goes.

^I loved that line.
I can't believe "assclown" made it through 15 years. Oh well, at least I haven't heard someone say selfie.
I was expecting the kid to start "talking" with his finger.

Might be a good time to just jump off this show. When it comes back, that's in prime CBB season (unless they are taking a really big break with Olympics in Feb), so might just let it go.

I thought I was done with the show last season. This season they've shown *some* promise. But then they go and make Aaron an idiot.
What it seems like the writers are doing is first deciding how they want the story to end. Then they make up stuff to move the story to where they want it to go. Which ends up feeling really forced and make the characters behave...well, out of character.
They need to ask themselves what that character would do next if it were them. No one in their right minds (and esp in post-apocolyptic USA) would have turned away the chance to be immortal and omnipotent. Aaron's inner geek most definitely would've been stoked to find out that he essentially had superpowers. It'd be like real-life (TV) God mode. And he could've used it to kick some ass which is what the viewers really wanna see.
But no, Aaron got all pissy and for some reason told the nanites to go away. Yeah, right.

They'll be back. They chose Aaron for some reason. I dont see them just leaving like that unless they just move on to another. Someone has to save Miles.
I hate these breaks though. This is sometimes something that can hurt a show that may struggle to begin with.

I think they screwed up killing and bringing back Aaron like they did. Once you introduce deus ex machina to raise the dead you have to introduce more contrivance to keep people dead. Like fickle AI and Aaron being retarded now.

Extremely fickle. So the AI bots come back set everyone on fire yet THEN say they will leave like he wanted so she cannot be brought back. (Aaron's was still ridiculous for saying he wanted them to leave him alone, seriously, WHO WOULD DO THAT!?!?!?!)

I'm guessing the writers are trying to make it that Aaron feels guilty that he caused the previous fire deaths by thinking "kill". Which is fine except that he never intended to kill since he didn't know it would happen. It's just an instinctual thought in a moment of anger. His telling the AI that it was bad to kill was the only time Aaron seemed to actually be thinking reasonably. When he started yelling at it to go away was when he became really stupid.
Like others have said, here you have an AI that could kill or heal anyone you wanted. Even if Aaron didn't want to be a god, it makes no sense to tell the AI to basically fuck off.
