Had no idea this was even in development. Kyle Chandler back on the small screen? I'm in.

Chandler did a Showtime Pilot that was directed by Ridley Scott a few years ago, but they passed on it. Once he became available again, he signed on to this show. This show was called "Untitled KZK Project" until recently. KZK means Kessler-Zelman-Kessler, who were the creators of Damages.

I was fan of Damages and Kyle Chandler from Friday Night Lights. I'm in for this. I also like some of the other cast members.

Just starting this and the characters are a little too stereotypical archetypes and plotting a little too on the nose but I'll see where it goes, lot of time for it to improve. Apparently the cast packed up and moved to the Keys for 8 months to film this... Sounds like a sweet gig. Imagine it was parties and then "alright guys be serious for ten minutes"
Like the old Florida jokes too, "Went to Orlando once, was too cold."

I'm four episodes in. It is a slow burn, but so far the writing is good minus one subplot.

Watched the first episode. Wasn't too impressed. Thought it was poorly edited, and the voice over just seemed off.
I'll give it a few more episodes based on the cast.

Barely got through episode one. I thought it was terrible. I agree with RichC2, the characters are not only stereotypical, but I just didn't give a shit about a single one. The writing is also really bad. There was a ridiculous scene where some of the siblings argued (for what felt like an eternity) about a non-family member sitting at the family table for dinner. The one brother's date. I'll watch the next episode but if it doesn't improve, I'm done.

Yeah, after a couple eps this appears to be a southern gothic
, the pacing can be brutal in spots and the voice over stuff better tie in or its just frustrating. It shifts gears pretty heavily between EPs 1 and 2. Also I can't help but feel like there is a
at play, this is very much structured like s1 of Damages.

I'm on Episode 5. It's gotten better. I'd say minimum, if you don't get into it by the end of Episode 3, then bail.

Yeah, just don't judge it on the pilot/first episode. The tension, paranoia, and plot pick up a good bit as it progresses

That's why I love Netflix for posting an entire season at once. The storytelling has to change. No longer do you need to have a cliffhanger at the end of every episode. A slow burn and buildup for each episode till the end. It makes it feel more like a long movie than a show.

Quick question, can you actually download the full episodes first where there won't be any buffering or poor picture quality?
Sorry, i've never had Netflix.
Really want to see this show.

You can only stream Netflix. Either via the web or through a streaming device like a gaming console, tablet or Roku/Amazon Fire.
The success of Netflix's viewing experience depends on how good your internet connection is.
Netflix has a 1 month free trial if you would like to try the service out 1st and see if it's worth it to you.

Just finished episode 3. Looking it so far. I like the flash forwards that point to something sinister going on, makes you wonder how it ends up there. I'll see it through.

I don't know what your family is like or if you have siblings, but for what it's worth that's actually very realistic in some families. There's always that one sibling (or friend for that matter) who insists on including their latest fling in things like family photos and lots of time there is argument about it. Felt authentic to me.
