The Last Man on Earth (FOX) - Season 1 Thread - S: Forte, E.P.: Miller & Lord

THE LAST MAN ON EARTH chronicles the life and adventures of an average guy - and humanity's last hope - who discovers what life is like when no one is telling you what you can and cannot do. The year is 2020, and after a deadly virus has swept the planet, only one man is left on earth: Phil Miller (Forte). He used to be just an average guy who loved his family and hated his job. Now, in his RV, Phil searches the country for other survivors. He has traveled to every city, every town and every outpost in the United States, Mexico and Canada, and has found no one. As he returns to his hometown of Tucson, Phil comes to the realization that he is almost certainly the last living being on the face of the earth in the special one-hour "Alive in Tucson/The Elephant in the Room" Series Premiere episode of THE LAST MAN ON EARTH airing Sunday, March 1 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. I really liked it, especially for a first episode. Good chemistry between those two, IMO.

That was absolutely hilarious. I can't remember the last time I laughed so much at a pilot. "It was probably a raccoon."

I think she's Alexandra Daddario. Although she's not credited in IMDB. She looks like the girl in S08E04 It's always sunny in Philadelphia.

So he was the last man on earth for like one episode and then, shenanigans. I still enjoyed it. I wish they would have spent more that one episode with him on his own.

Yeah, I would have liked at least a few episodes seeing him treasure hunting and enjoying being the last man on Earth before it started to weigh on him. I think they could have explored the aloneness more before introducing another human.
I thought it was good though and will keep the season recording.

Well, he is the last male on Earth, so technically the title is correct. I enjoyed the first two episodes, but as someone said, I wonder how sustainable of a series this is. It heavily relies on the interaction of just two people without any guest stars.

This is exactly how I felt. Although I did make it to the end of the second episode.
