Chandler was considered the funny one of the group though.

Just because it was an alternate universe episode doesn't mean that it shouldn't count. He had the job in the episode. It's a TV show. Nothing about it is "real" anyway, so I don't see how an alternate universe episode shouldn't count. I believe it fits your criteria.

Just want to put my .02 in on it. I believe it should count but I'm not going to create a stink about it either way.

I was planning to play, but was busy over the weekend and didn't realize there was a deadline. I watched the show for the first time recently, bingeing all 10 seasons, but while that's great for recency, it's not so great for retention.

I think I would've been middle of the pack with the questions so far.

Man, I totally guessed that Elliott Gould was one of the parents. Maybe I've caught him in a rerun, but my thought process was "Who would be good as Ross's dad. I'm glad I didn't go with Dustin Hoffman.

The same thought process with Streisand and Rachel didn't go as well.

I'll let other sheep chime in on this, but my gut tells me that alternate realities / dreams don't count as part of the show's "canon." I mean, if a character on the show were to ask Chandler if he'd ever worked as Joey's personal assistant, obviously he'd answer "no." That's my reasoning.

Fair enough. Along those lines, I would say that if someone asked me if there were a Friends episode where Chandler was Joey's assistant, my answer would be yes.

But no need to think about it more. I'll accept that it doesn't count. Your game, your rules. I'm not going to be the guy to makes the sheepmasters job more difficult.

The only reason I chose Elliot Gould was because his was the only name I could remember. I don't know Mrs. Geller's real name. I thought Marlo Thomas, but she wasn't in many episodes.
I didn't think to slam Reese because my first thought was Ribisi, but switched. I thought it was going to be split pretty evenly. Hopefully I slammed on the right questions going forward.

As for the Chandler being Joey's assistant. I thought of that first, but then thought it was more a fantasy filler episode, so it wouldn't count, in my mind.

What do you mean? You're the one that challenged it. Chandler played Joey's Personal Assistant in the episode where they ponder what life would have been like if Rachel never joined the group. The entire episode is done in an alternate reality.

That was my logic as well. I thought the split in choosing between these 2 sisters, might shift some more to pick Ursula. Besides, she was more of a recurring character. Of course I always get in trouble when I use logic in choosing my answers.
