I loved them. Big Head was perfect as young CW and I've always been a fan of William Hurt.
I still wish the season had more to do with the game itself, like season 1. This season's plots could be in any random office yet the title of the show is the name of the game they're supposed to be making.

Finally, the game-centric episode I've been waiting for.....and it's the finale.

I was thinking "This seems like a finale" but it also didn't. Seasons are too damn short.

I thought this season was better than season one. I laughed a lot more. I hope they are renewed for a third season, but this was a fitting ending if the show is cancelled.

This is such a fun, irreverent show. You know Rob and Charlie have everything to do with it. This is more toned down Sunny.
All I really want to know is when is the show with Christina Milioti and Jake Johnson (both of whom I’ve always absolutely adored) coming out? My god when? Even have a recurring role for Geoffrey Owens. So so great!
Where did this ep come from? This hasn’t been a concept show from the previous 4 eps I’ve seen and this is a totally great, totally incredible concept. I want this show now. I’ll still take MQ bc it is very funny. But, I’ll love ADQD!

The LARP special episode was also killer! C.W. trying to use technology in the quarantine episode was hysterical.
I'm halfway through the second season and have been laughing my ass off. I like how they clown C.W. -- when they reject his calls on their phones. I'm on the episode where they make a dummy and put the tablet on its head and C.W. calls in, so it looks like a disembodied head on a dummy.
My biggest regret is not having started this show sooner!

It's got solid doses of Community and Always Sunny, the advertising failed it.

I agree, I only found out about it from this forum and somehow even missed it here until late season 2. Did both seasons in a couple of nights, and loved it.
It does have a lot of the "yelling at each other" like Always Sunny has, but it works here too.

Anyone find it ironic that Mythic Quest is a show co-created by Ubisoft about issues they don’t want to deal with?

Finished the second season today and I hope it comes back for a third. Danny Pudi is also terrific and a friend said that if I liked MQ to go and start on Community. I've never seen Community but they're all on Netflix, so that may be what I watch next.

Omg. If you liked MQ you’ll fucking love Community. But that one does have some heart, but great series almost all the way through. No real comparisons really. MQ much more irreverent and silly, like Sunny. Don’t get me wrong Community silly as hell, but different and one of my favs of all time.

You should definitely watch Community. It’s one of my top ten favorite comedies ever. Modern Warfare and Basic Rocket Science are my two favorite episodes. It takes a few episodes to get going and for the cast to gel, but it’s fantastic. You can almost skip season 4. The show runner departed after season three and season four seems like a different show. He returns for season five and six and the show is back running on all cylinders.

Nice!
These jabronis must have great negotiation skills to continue to get multi season pickups on their shows.

Great to hear that we're getting two more seasons. Mythic Quest is one of my favorite shows. I was getting a little worried that we hadn't heard about a renewal since it seems like most streaming series are getting renewed or cancelled about a month after the first new episode/season premieres.

Awesome, I really like this show. Just introduced my wife to it, so I'm going through again.

Just binged through this show. Both seasons were great. The pandemic episodes were great to, interesting to "look back" at that era (although the pandemic is still far from over). The carry-over into season 2 where C.W was still remoting in for the first half lead to some good comedy situations, I loved the iPad dummy. It did create one continuity issue though in the bottle episode with the employee personality results, since Sue takes C.W. away from the group, only for them never to be seen again and never signing their packets. I thought there'd be a callback during credits that Carol had just forgot about them, but no, if seems the episode itself forgot about them.
Also, with the two back-to-back C.W. episodes, there's something poetic about how the episode "backstory" isn't strictly needed on a narrative plot level, but makes the following C.W. episode all the more poignant.
My wife enjoyed the show too, although at first she was a bit lost with all the gaming references.

F. Murray Abraham will not be resuming his role in the Apple TV+ series Mythic Quest. A spokesperson for Lionsgate, the studio that produces the show, confirmed in a statement, “F. Murray Abraham will not be returning to season three of Mythic Quest. Beyond that, we do not comment on matters concerning personnel.”

Oh no. That sucks. He was used for some great comedic moments. Another sexual harassment situation?
And after they did all that backstory on him too, with that great episode. Damn.

He was great on the show. I hope it was a contract dispute instead of any kind of improper behavior on set. I'll miss his character.
