The Clone Wars is totally worth watching in my opinion. A bit rocky at the start, but it gets really good, and like I mentioned is personally one of my favorite things in all of Star Wars. Haven’t watched Rebels yet, but plan to eventually.

Looking forward to watching it. Not my favorite episodes of The Clone Wars, but I definitely want to see more from that timeline.

Hoping maybe this show will delve into some side stories like The Clone Wars did. Maybe finish off some of the storylines that didn’t get produced into episodes. Hoping we might see Rex, Ahsoka, Maul, and others pop in occasionally maybe.

Is that lightsaber even a consumer product? I haven't seen anything about price or availability, only some references to it be used by actors in one of the Star Wars Disney resorts or attractions.

Not really interested in it anyway. I already have the red Vader and blue Anakin/Luke Master Replica Force FX lightsabers crossed on the wall of my home theater over a Black Series Darth Vader helmet. The most I do with them is turn them on every once in a while. And since the old Master Replicas are better quality than the more expensive Black Series ones Disney has been putting out, having one that telescopes doesn't really appeal to me, though cosplayers will probably eat them up.

Holy shit that first episode was freaking awesome. So much more than I expected from a series based around the Bad Batch.

This series spins off from the "Bad Batch" arc in Clone Wars season seven. And that arc has elements from the Clone Wars season three "Citadel" arc.

The orange sky variant (bottom) is a timed edition and should be available for the next couple of days.

I might bite on it; I think I prefer the orange sky over the blue sky, anyway. I don't have a lot of wall space left, and it will cost quite a bit to frame it, even if I do it myself.

This was good. I haven't seen The Clone Wars or any trailers for it, just decided to watch it last night. Good setup, liked the Episode III tie-in, too. Surprised one is a traitor right away (well, programming, and all), and the only thing I wondered is whether that tension had always been there for Crosshairs, otherwise I felt like the characters are broad yet unique to one another enough to pick up what is going on.

I would suggest you, or anyone else who hasn't watched The Clone Wars but want to watch this, to at least watch Season 7, Episodes 1-4 of TCW, which introduces The Bad Batch. It is pretty self contained.

Casting Freddie Prince Jr. to reprise his Kanan (Caleb) role was a weird decision, but the rest was really good. The Clone Wars was mostly great Star Wars and this series looks to continue that.

It’s been a while since I saw Rebels but the name Caleb kept ringing a bell. I looked it up and found out it was Kanan but would have never put it together on my own.

Really enjoyed the first episode. The time frame will be interesting with the Empire's creation. I liked seeing some Kamino stuff too.
Tarkin's idea of conscription and not paying for clones seems to play into the eventual generation of stormtroopers and maybe a joke at their expense with the Kaminoan prime minister mentioning they wouldn't be as good/accurate as his clones.
