The Twitterverse is thinking that the "aerospace engineer" that Monica is meeting up with is none other than

Spoiler:
Adam Brashear, aka The Blue Marvel.

I can see that being a possibility.

Elizabeth Olsen walking down the stairs in her costume = stunning.

I'm seeing other people speculating
Spoiler:
Reed Richards

It was frustrating waiting several weeks to finally sign up for D+.
But the reward was to be able to binge on the first five eps and then only wait a day for the 6th. Waiting for the last three will be torture though.

Yeah, I saw that too but they’re concerned that not introducing the rest of the crew at the same time would be bad.

I was hoping the big reveal as to who is
Spoiler:
manipulating Wanda

would turn out to be
Spoiler:
Doctor Doom

but it looks like signs are pointing more to
Spoiler:
Mephisto

Spoiler:
If Richards were revealed, it would make (at least some reference to) Doom seem more a fait accompli.

If there is any show that all episodes should be dropped at once, it’s this.

I've heard theories that are all over the place... and I love that we are talking about it. So much speculation... I'm afraid it will either be the best ending ever or leave us wanting.
Spoiler:
I don't care if it's Mephisto, Nightmare, Doom or Howard the Duck... I just want it to be awesome!!!

The name of the b&w movie that was playing on the screen in the background is The Creature that Walks Among Us. That could be a fantastic nod to what is potentially happening in town.

No, because people are actually talking about individual episodes throughout the week. Disney knows what they are doing, there is so much buzz for this right now unlike a lot of Netflix shows.

Yep. This model has been perfect for this show and The Mandalorian keeping them in the public consciousness far longer then if people were bingeing all the episodes in one day.

The only reason I'm watching week to week is because of the high chance of being spoiled. I rather it came out at once, don't care about buzz. The format is terrible for a weekly show. If they wanted to go weekly each episode should be a full episode like the mandalorian. I wish there was less buzz over the show so I could safely ignore it until all the episodes were out.

Re: WandaVision (S1E06) - "All-New Halloween Spooktacular!" - 2/12/21

This show is really hyping whoever Rambeau's contact man is. I'm sorry, but if it turns out to be
Spoiler:
the Blue Marvel

that will elicit a massive "huh?" reaction and disappointment from 99% of the viewers who have never, ever heard of him.

My gut says they are bringing in an established character from either the MCU or Fox/Sony universes, or best of all
Spoiler:
Reed Richards, especially if played by John Krasinski

If it's the first spoiler, then they should never have dragged out his reveal, because it's not an exciting or interesting one to most viewers.

So this is your first post in a Wandavision thread just to say you wish it wasn’t so popular and you don’t care to talk about it?

Rumor. Also, this is not an official source for information. It's been circulating online today.

If the big reveal is in fact
Spoiler:
the Blue Marvel

I’m going to be seriously disappointed.

Has the show really been hyping it or has it been all the hardcore Marvel fans online? There have been a couple of mentions, but it doesn't seem all that hyped to me - until I come into this thread.

I'm still really enjoying it, though this episode felt teasingly short. Evan Peters seems like a better fit with all the other actors than Aaron Taylor-Johnson. I never liked that casting. I revisited Age of Ultron not long ago and was reminded how much I didn't care for him. It will be interesting to see how things are reconciled with Quicksilver - and Vision for that matter. Loved the kick ass reference.

As for scheduling, I don't mind the weekly format. I'll say this, I've found I've rewatched each episode at least once before the new one drops. I never do that with binge shows. I just go forward and rarely ever look back.

Peters is a better actor than ATJ

The fact that Rambeau never speaks his name says to me that his identity is a "reveal," not just a simple character introduction. The writers are clearly avoiding his name/identity on purpose, which means this has to be a significant character. So I'd argue yes, the show is hyping him, but subtly.

Long time Marvel reader (since the 80s), but I've never heard of that character. Looked them up and they were introduced in 2008. I'd mostly bailed on Marvel comics by then.

So, I think the twins are real, somehow, and not constructs or townspeople. Wanda has never had any control over them at any point. I think she even mentioned that at one point in the last episode. Also, in this episode, when she freezes the town prior to expanding the Hex, you can see (in the wide shot for a couple frames) that everyone stops moving, except Wanda and the twins.

I checked around and there's no source to this other than Feige saying recently on an interview that the last 3 episodes will be longer and they will vary in time. Whoever did the meme took that as the next episodes being an hour, which isn't true.

Subtly hyping is kind of like loudly whispering. So, are they really hyping it or subtly hyping it?

The writers clearly want viewers to be curious about and speculate on the identity of Rambeau's man. They're building up to his reveal. Maybe hype isn't the best word, but this isn't going to culminate in a simple character introduction. His identity will be significant. I think it's the Luke Skywalker moment Olsen has mentioned in interviews.
