This is where I'm at as well -- absolutely loved Escape. I'm a bit late to this one - just watched the first episode last night - but I'm in for the season. Intriguing and unsettling enough to want more.

Omfg. What a Fucking killer episode.
The opening scene, the defiant Jazz dance scene and what came at the end of it, and the final scene of the episode. Wow wow wow.
This show is all kinds of awesome. Only two episodes left of Season 1. Gonna miss it.

I mean, I'm sure it's not an accident that he's neighbors with Cobel who seems to be in a good position to control narrative.

Probably something like that but it was such a good twist that it could propel a lot of things in Season 2.
I just love the tone of this show. It so deftly goes to the edge of weird but still grounded. Maybe my favorite show this year. It actually feels unqiue.

Finally getting around to this since the season is winding down.
Good to see Britt Lower in something. I don’t think I’ve seen her in anything since Man Seeking Woman.

For those interested, Screen Rant has a new article about the show and the big spoiler from Episode 7.
It talks about the clues in prior episodes, most of which I didn’t pick up on.
Didn’t post a link here because the stupid headline is a massive spoiler. Google it because it’s a worthy recap of the series thru 7 episodes.

Gonna jump on their Twitter Q&A with the cast at 12 noon Pacific here in an hour.
Either Ben Stiller or Adam Scott said they will lie if anyone guesses anything right.

This was an all around crazy ass episode.
I shouted at my tv when it ended.![LOL](/images/smilies/lol.gif)
Some of the speculation about the other protocols on that system is interesting.

Next week’s finale is gonna be the one that sucks as far as a cliffhanger.
I have a feeling we aren’t gonna get a lot of answers.
Also, according to the online Q&A today. Both Stiller and Scott said they’re still waiting to see if Apple renews for a second season.
That would imply the ratings are not very good. Such a shame, this is the best thing on TV this year, IMO.

Okay, Xfinity is giving subscribers 3 months of Apple TV+ free, I am going to take advantage of the offer and enjoy this show. This show more than Ted Lasso has me wanting to subscribe again to Apple TV+ (I already watch a ton of stuff I stream from other providers using my 4K Apple TV) but adding yet another paid streaming service was not in the cards for me. However, 3 months is a good stretch to catch up on some shows that everyone is talking about (like this one) and it should be easy enough for me to discontinue my subscription if I so desire. It also helps that I think Apple TV+ with limited ads is only $5 a month, correct?
I really want to watch this show.

They do have a bundle though for people that are all-in on Apple ($15 bundled with Apple Music, Apple Arcade, iCloud+ 50gb, Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+)
