This show is brilliantly well done, Stiller did an amazing job making everything tense as can be and balanced it incredibly well. If there is an Emmy for best editing this episode 100% deserves it.

Amazing final episode. Best show of the year easily. I will be SOOO pissed if there is not a season 2.

Episode 7 “Defiant Jazz” was the best of the bunch. But 7, 8 and 9 were all fucking incredible television.
The constant background music and quick pace of the finale was so invigorating.
If we have to wait all the way until next February to get more episodes, that’s gonna suck.
This is the show of the year. Stuff like Ozark and Stranger Things will be good I’m sure. But this is going to be up for an absolute truckload of Emmy’s.
Severance is next level shit.
**the only mistake I think they made was making the setup episodes so long and slow before shit started to happen. The bridge episodes (4, 5, 6) were all good, but man they really blew me away with the final 3 shows**.

The creator of the series commented that Stiller convinced him to end the season on episode 9 despite having a 10th ready to go.

Thank god they announced it was renewed before the finale.
This is one of my favorite shows in years.
A bit of a slow burn the first few episodes, but it really ramped up the last three. Going to be really tough waiting for next season

I was finally able to read all of the Rolling Stone interview with Ben Stiller that just came out this week.
It kept putting up a paywall until I Googled the article and was able to get through.
At the end, Sepinwall asks him when Season 2 will go into production, and Stiller says hopefully by the end of the year.
Then he asks him if it might air in 2023, and Stiller said “possibly.”
So, that’s a bummer. We could be looking at summer or fall of 23 before we get more. And maybe not even then.

I actually took advantage of that xfinity 3 months free Apple TV+ for new customers deal I mentioned up thread and watched the first 5 today. Sounds like I am in for a treat as I finish up the remaining episodes. That painting with the employees murdering and eating each other was nuts.

This show is weird as fuck but compelling as all hell. I feel like this is like one big psychological experiment but who knows. Only on episode 6.
I hope Zach Cherry gets a ton more work. I love that guy in everything. He has such a funny dry delivery of lines.

Yeah finished it up. Great stuff. I hope to God this is a show with a plan. Map out that they want and get to it. We definitely need answers to some stuff. Glad this isn't supernatural stuff. This feels like Westworld to me.

They've claimed a few times that it's all planned out, the mysteries don't seem to be there for the hell of it like they do on certain other mystery box shows.

I am still not sure that it won't delve into supernatural stuff. There's a lot of subtle things that could indicate that is where they are going.
