Some typical CYE moments but as stated by others - very trite, stale, predictable, and overused jokes ultimately made it a very disappointing premiere. The ending is very reminiscent of the final episode of Seinfeld where some uncommon law leads to an arrest - possibly purposely referencing Seinfeld. Still have high hopes that LD has something up his sleeve with this final season.

Yikes, this was bad. I dont expect this to ever reach the heights of early Curb, but man, this was just a bunch of unfunny yelling.

I thought this one was kind of dull except for Leon's "You fist bump that motherfucker?" to Larry and Jeff about the Lawn Jockey

Larry David is as old as Trump and Biden so I don't expect a lot but God love him, his mind is still sharp and its amazing that they still do this show improv style and come up with some of the stuff they do.
I think bad CYE is still better than anything else airing right now so just happy to get another 10 episodes. And interested to see how he chooses to end this given the controversy over how Seinfeld ended.

I’m always down for some Susie going at Jeff and Larry, but outside of that this episode was terrible (admittedly as judged by Curb standards).

This is not a good start to the season. Also is it just me or has the cartoony circus music that usually plays between scenes or to highlight awkward moments now been severely reduced?

I'm enjoying this season so far. I guess I found the last episode especially funny since one of my neighbors still had a black lawn jockey well into the 2000s in NORTHERN ILLINOIS! Then, they ended up painting it bright white only after their daughter started dating a black guy God it was so cringeworthy! I never understood why they didn't just get rid of the thing.

The continuing to golf while not knowing if a Coyote killed Jeff's dog is straight out of Seinfeld - where Elaine continued to buy jujy-fruit after she heard her boyfriend was in an accident and was in the hospital.

I'll be the minority and say this was the worst of the 3 so far. Just a little too dumb all around.

Anyone want to bet that this season/series will end just like SEINFELD did: with Larry going to jail (for his voting line "crime")?

I wouldn’t doubt it. I think this season has been plain annoying. I liked S11, but this is just too much yelling from David for my tastes. Just so irritating.
I’d take a J. B. Smoove spinoff any day though.

I have to be honest these SNL style skits making references to Trump, Elections, etc... have already been done and frankly is stale.
I really like Curb for the interaction between the people over mundane everyday circumstances - the politics stuff is getting over done (SNL, every late night host, etc).. the jokes are not original.
In addition, Seinfeld and this show don't really work when they are not in their 'home town.' ( I didn't like when the whole group has to find some excuse to travel to Georgia or some other state.) and
I really don't hope that this ends with Larry going to jail at the end to join Jerry, George, Kramer, Elaine in jail

But yeah, Larry going to prison at the end of the show would be lame.

I heard rumors that this last season might be a reunion of sorts (I'm not sure how true that is)... but maybe they all come to his trial and one thing leads to another Larry ends up in lockup or somehow they all end up locked up... Just my off the wall theory.
