That's terrible. Someone I know had a family member killed in a motorcycle accident. It's a pretty awful way to go, sadly.

Damn. That's terrible. I loved him in everything he did, but my favourites were Deep Rising and The Phantom. Heck, he was even great in those Substitute sequels.
Damn shame.

He's so good in Hair, one of the first non-kiddie movie musicals that I really loved.

Damn. That’s sad. I’ve liked him in everything I saw him in. He had some fun movies.
Looking through his filmography, it looks like he had an uncredited role in The Empire Strikes Back

Apparently he visited Carrie Fisher on set and talked his way onto the movie as an extra.

Just saw this in the obituary thread. I was a fan of him in Everwood and especially Deep Rising. I started following him on twitter a while back (before I deactivated my account) and he seemed like a nice guy--pretty chill and enjoying life and the natural beauty around him. RIP.

Everwood, Deep Rising and Prince of the City are probably his most popular roles. Years ago I watched to lesser known movies of him "Escape: Human Cargo" and "36 Hours to Die" I really liked a lot.

Re: Treat Williams killed in motorcycle accident
Per TMZ:
5:28 AM PT -- 6/13 -- According to Vermont State Police ... Treat got into a two-vehicle accident in the town of Dorset Monday afternoon. The driver of a Honda Element SUV was cruising down a street when he turned left into a parking lot and collided with Treat, who was thrown from his motorcycle and critically injured. Police said Treat -- wearing a helmet -- was unable to maneuver out of the way before the crash.
Treat was airlifted to New York's Albany Medical Center, where doctors pronounced him dead. The other motorist was treated for minor injuries at the scene and released. He has not been charged or cited ... although VSP investigators are still in the early stages of their probe.

This was one of the few celebrities who truly felt like a real person on twitter.
Couldn’t name a single thing he starred in, but I really enjoyed his everyday nature tweets etc.
I hope he wasn’t in pain for very long. RIP
