It didn't matter because they totally missed the sign, but yeah, don't put the Express Pass taken sign at the bottom, place it at the TOP.

Anna Leigh about to force her dad to get a heart attack running up those stairs just to not get eliminated. Someone with ruthless edge is the perfect energy for The Challenge or Survivor.

I pretty much agree with you here but I don't think it really matters. Anna Leigh is going to push her Dad too far until he either drops over dead or finally bends her over his knee and spanks her. The way she carried on about this being the last time they would see them and she knows they lost! What a drama queen. This team is bound to implode. I just don't see them making it to the win.

Even her "this is beautiful; I'm just going to enjoy it" bit after the express pass debacle felt like passive aggressive bullshit.
Ultimately being consistently poor at navigation cost Lena and Morgan.

I thought this was a fantastic episode, one of the best in years. Some travel scrambling, challenging tasks/decisions (especially the Express Pass), breathtaking scenery in a beautiful country, dramatic moments, close finishes, it had it all. My only worry while watching was that it could all be ruined with the horrible phrase "keep racing" on the mat.

The clue said "travel by foot". Why do people (on social media) keep bringing up transportation, stairs, elevator....
They used something other than their feet to travel from the top floor to the bottom floor.
I'm more inclined to believe one of the earlier ranked teams didn't travel by foot, but it wasn't caught at the pitstop. They ranked and Phil waited for the other teams. Thus by the time Anna Leigh and Steve did it, they couldn't be penalized because the earlier ranked teams already checked in without penalty. That's my conspiracy theory haha

So would an escalator count as not by foot? This is nitpicking IMO.
I really don't care but I'm not a TAR obsessive type. I watch this show for the scenery and interesting tasks with a little drama here and there. The contestants are meaningless to me. I couldn't even tell you who is left except for the son and deaf father. So go them, I guess. Oh yeah, that daughter and father who are constantly yelling at each other are left too.

Or a moving sidewalk (flat escalator) in an airport? Or butt-sliding down a handrailing? What if a contestant somersaulted or walked on their hands for 10 feet? Or jumped off the building and landed in a swimming pool? Penalty!

the clue says travel by foot to the next pitstop. they took the elevator, a mode of transportation, from one area to the bottom and perhaps gained an unfair advantage over the sisters. Steve could have taken a long time to go down the stairs than by using the elevator

Glad to see Robbin and Chelsea get eliminated. For some reason, I did not like them. Didn’t seem like they enjoyed being on the show.

Damn, Anna Leigh so brutal!
But I found it hilarious that people on social media were debating elevators as “transportation” a couple weeks ago and then we get Anna Leigh confused about a bus being the subway. I’m sure they would have defended her someway this time too if they took the bus.
The son should have let them take the bus. Would have been a killer move.

If it goes to form, then the beard guys should go next. Assuming Anna Leigh doesn't somehow kill her father on the next leg.
Rob has been a much better/inspiring competitor on this race than that little shit head Luke who raced with his Mom three times.

Do both members of the team need to be alive to count as a win?

Zach won the third season with a leg iron attached to his ankle so I guess anything is possible.

I enjoyed that not only did he acknowledge it (her cuteness), but he seemed genuinely flustered.

Real wanted to see Anna Leigh do the Riverdance with that sexy outfit, Bummer, she use all her roadblocks so her dad had to do it.

I couldn’t believe they had a fucking Riverdance roadblock . Both that and the hurling thing were very physical, so Rob and Corey’s plan really paid off.

Side note, that dance judge has got to be the most enthusiastic, nicest, most encouraging judge I've seen on any reality show, ever.
Edit - of this final 3, I am probably pulling for Rob and Corey the most, but really won't be upset at all if the brothers or Team Facial Hair win.

Yeah, that Riverdance moment had a bit of a "Dad, I'm going to bail on the rest of this leg to hang out here" vibe.
Holding back roadblocks for the more athletic partner to do in the final legs is a strategy, but you have to be confident as a team to execute it. Derek and Claire did it last year, and it was a major factor in them getting a big lead in their winning final leg. In contrast, S and AL were the opposite in burning through all of her roadblocks so he had to do it. Anna Leigh immediately cursing when she what the first roadblock was kind of funny.
I do think it is a casting/race structure failure that there are no women in the final though.
