anyone know how to increase your rep with thunderbuf?
Are there any repeatable quests or mobs you can kill for a lvl60?
Does increasing your rep with Cenarion Circle the same as increasing your Thunderbuff rep?

Your best bet would be with the repeatable cloth quests in Thunderbluff. There should be a guy by the tailor that will accept stacks of different cloth for reputation. If you are trying to get exalted so you can get that mount for a different race you are going to need a lot of cloth though.

Last night I joined one of the top raiding guilds on my server. I had to fill out an application and everything. My first raid with them was in BWL and we took down the 3rd boss last night. I have to say they were well discliplined and everyone was on Vent. When the leader gave out the orders to buff it literally took 5 seconds for everyone in the 40-man party to get their required buff. This guild makes my previous guild (that was in the process of clearing MC for the first time) look like a bunch of noobs.

Grats on the new guild! Sorry you had to give up the satisfaction of learning and beating all of Molten Core at the same time as your guild though. My guild is only on Ragnaros, but it's always a thrill each time we beat a new boss. You should be geared up in no time though!

Another thing that annoyed me was our leader and another officer were shadow priests and unwilling to respec to holy/disc even though it would have been a great help. They claim they are such great healers that they could stay shadow and still do the healing required. Unfortunately while that works in UBRS, Strat and Scholo, it does not in MC.
My new guild is currently learning BWL so I can look forward to that.

Unless you are an MT healer, specced for Inspiration there is no real benefit to putting any more than 10 points in the holy tree (Imp renew and Spiritual Healing). As long as you have a decent number of points in Discipline you should be fine. I am currently specced 21/9/21 and I have no problems in MC. I have even given some thought to going back to a heavier shadow build lately for pvp. I know other guilds that have heavy shadow priests even as the MT healer.

And what the hell is Jewel making used for? Is it just instead of having to mine for malachite, tigers eye, etc you can now just create it?

Yes, even though it doesn't sound that effective, I am a huge fan of Imp Fade though. And even without subtlety I try to get by without Blessing of Salvation as much as possible.

I know this is probably real early to start complaining about it and normally I try to be positive about things, but is anyone else disappointed that there is only one new profession in the expansion? I can think of at least two professions I would of liked to see.

Good read here:

And it turns out we were both right about the jewelcrafting, heh.

Most of the "Fake" expansion notes from earlier were actually true as you noticed, If the rest of the notes are spot on also as i'm starting to believe them now as almost all of the announced expansion stuff was in those notes. Then there will be a new class called spellbreaker or something.. That was mentioned in those notes. So don't lose hope yet, they may have just not announced it yet.

Scribing (Creating scrolls. Granted this would be somewhat like Alchemy in giving buffs but only for thirty minutes instead of an hour and the scrolls could also be used for one time use spells, i.e. firebolt, frostbolt, curse of agony, etc)
Archeology (Thought of this as a gathering skill for Enchant. Basically find artifacts and weapons that are buried. Not all finds would be green or above but I still figured would be usefull gathering skill especially for some extra money.)
