I bought Phoenix Wright at dvdboxoffice.com. Maybe try ordering it online?

Yeah but I find myself using 5-8 mushrooms a fight and get discouraged

Learn how to do the dodges and counters of enemy attacks. Every attack in the game can at least be dodged, most can be countered.

It's just a matter of pressing the button at the right time. And for the most part you can just press the buttons for both characters and not worry about figuring out which one they're going to attack.

I do that a lot of the time.

Most online stores are sold out though. Trauma Center looks to be going the way of the Dodo as well.

They had a few copies of trauma center at the local best buy, no Phoenix Wright though. I've never seen it in the stores, but was generally not looking for it specifically.

They've had several copies of Trauma Center at both Best Buys I've been to. No Phoenix Wright, but EBGames B&M always seems to have a copy.

I realized I wrote that wrong. I use 1-2 mushrooms per fight, but what I use like crazy is shells and other fight items... sooner or later I'll run out of them and then what, stomp away?

I dodge most attacks but still get hit sometimes

What do you do once you run out of attack items?

The regular jump and hammer attacks are more than enough for regular enemies. Just attack and dodge/counter. The battles take longer, but it still very easy once you get the hang of the timing for extra damage on the attacks and to get the counters.

Use the items mainly on bosses, and you can buy the attack items in the shop as well, so you should always have plenty.

Does that site have the American version? The picture didn't look like it. I didn't notice anything about it being in stock either.

Ew, after shipping it would cost like $53.

Even if it is the japanese version, it has an option for full english text.

I just fiinshed the game tonight. It was great even to the very end, the cases were so well designed that it kept me guessing the whole time. I was surprised that it was much longer than I was expecting. I mentioned this before but it really has all the winning combination of funny and memorable characters, storyline, music, the whole package. It's a lot of reading but I couldn't stop playing.

It might not have sold the best here, but I really hope the sequel comes out here .

Phoenix Wright has pretty much disappeared here, too. I had been hoping to wait out a price drop, but I bit the bullet tonight when I found it for $30.

Are you sure? I put it in my cart, chose free shipping, and switched to American currency - and it said something like $39

Somehow I added courier service to my order. That is what made it jump in price.

I just bought one on ebay with some money I had left over in my paypal account. Sealed $44 + shipping.

Tetris DS Announced for 3/20 release with full local and internet WiFi support. From Joystiq:
Nintendo has announced the wi-fi enabled Tetris DS for the dual screen portable today. The game will feature several modes including classic themed based puzzles like Mario Bros. and Zelda, touch screen interactivity, special Tetris puzzles, and multiplayer mode up to 10 players locally and between 2- to 4-players on the wifi connection. Only one DS owner needs the game card for local multiplayer and the title will use a point system for online battles.

Tetris DS is slated for release March 20. Though the game has existed for more than 20 years, it's still hard not to get excited about this one if you're a puzzle fan. Many thanks, Alexey.

So electroplankton is out this week, right? I've read some hype on it, but it got absolutely blasted in the latest issue of EGM as being a non-game and more of a trippy experience. You apparently can't even save your "songs"... anyone getting this?

Yeah EGM really panned it, I'm passing.

It didn't sound like my cup of tea, will definitely pass if it's truely a "non-game." I tend to agree with EGM's reviews more often than not. They're just a negative and critical of games as me.

I'm really liking Bust-A-Move DS (review up this weekend I think). Really solid and good use of the touch.

I thought it had always been described that way... didn't EGM get the memo?
