We have 3 CC's where I live and unfortunately the one closest to me is the worst. The games on clearance are NEVER marked or even separated from the rest of the games, but they do at the other two. I got lucky this time, but I also rarely score during these markdowns.

Went back and got the following:
Indigo Prophecy
Gun
Rainbow Six: Lockdown
Getting Up
Nicktoons Unite
I was tempted to re-buy the Incredible Hulk, but I figured I'd give someone else a chance at it.

I went back and got an Eyetoy for my father-in-law. He may not like it but it was only 9$ so i thought it would be worth the try. He likes games with simpler controls (as opposed to FPS and the like).
Man i wish Indigo Prophecy was BC though - i really want to play it on my 360. I also wish the Harry Potter game for the Xbox was on the list - the PS2 and GC version were but not the Xbox.

Thanks to the OP. I'm only looking for a couple games, so I stopped by our local CC to see what was up. Very large majority of the games were either pulled or bought. But, I was able to pick up FIFA Street 2 for the XBOX. It would be much appreciated if anyone picked up an extra Time Crisis: Crisis Zone for the PS2. Let me know

For those who are interested in the EyeToy, it can be used as a PC Webcam as well. Just google "Eyetoy pc driver" and you'll find links on how to get it to work on a PC. Not a bad little webcam for $9.

All of the CCs I checked had their games completely disorganized and completely out of order. I think this is the reason I had so much success finding a bunch of the titles, but I also had to dig through ever single game to find them. If I was just a casual customer I would not shop at a store that didn't keep their games in some kind of order.

Thanks for the heads-up. Finally went late Sunday and found a half dozen GBAs - most were sticker-priced $29.99 -all rang up 8.96 though. nice deal. And yes, I think Speedy posted in the CC-advert thread that the $8.96 sale is officially for July 2nd forward; so perhaps some stores will have titles in the backroom to put out then.....

For those in the Houston area, check out the CC at 610 and San Felipe for the motherload. It seemed like 90% of the Xbox titles listed were on hand. Sorry but I wasn't interested in checking for the other systems. I would hurry before the FW'ers get there!

Exactly my thoughts, if the games are seperated and marked down, everyone will be after them, but if they arent, people will not even pick them up, just because the games are not marked sale price doesnt mean they are not on sale
A game marked at 49.99 when it is actually MUCH MUCH less when it is rung up... CC's are very disorganized, and it plays well into my advantage... scored over 40 $2 games from a couple CC's a few months ago, all because they had never been marked for reduction on the physical cases

I was at my local Circuit City (Roseville, MI) today, and they still had a few titles left. They were on the shelves with the regularly priced games so I had to do some digging, but they were marked with clearance price of $8.96. I only picked up "Metroid" Zero Mission" for my GBA. I also saw:
XBox:
Half-Life
Far Cry: Instincts
The Matrix: The Path of Neo
Def Jam fighting game
Batman Begins (marked 9.96)
GBA:
Metroid (NES Classics)
Metroid Fusion
Pac Man Pinball
and a couple kiddie games (Barbie and such)
Gamecube:
007: From Russia With Love
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

If anyone has an extra of Metroid Pinball, Lunar Dragon Song, Dig Dug Digging Strike, or Advance Wars. I can paypal for them and shipping. I went to two and couldn't find anything.

DVD Talk Godfather & 2020 TOTY Winner
Picked up:
Ultimate Spiderman (PS2)
Mario Golf (GBA)
Indigo Prophesy (Xbox)
Timesplitters : Future Perfect (PS2)
The Warriors (Xbox)
--So far I've only tried Warriors, but I'm really impressed. It's a fun, creative brawler and it seems to have a lot of varied gameplay. Anyone on the fence should feel good about picking that one up.

Is the sale over on the games? I picked up a few the last time I was in Circuit City but there are a couple more I'd like to, as long as the sale is still ongoing.

You can find some of these on Circuitcity.com.. you have to keep checking back tho as most are out of stock and find they're way back in the system when some quatities are found.
