It's up right now!!!

I've heard that Comix Zone will be up today as well.
Legend of Zelda on the SNES was one of the few games that I have ever finished.

Did you try deleting your save(s) from the Wii and then trying the card in the Mac?
I haven't tried it again but I think I'm going to format the card in my camera and see if that works any better.

I was using a card reader that's built into my external hard drive. I'll try the included USB adapter tonight.

Latest issue of NP gives some Super Paper Mario details (courtesy of GoNintendo):
Takes place in the town of Flipside, where a giant black hole looms overhead, complete with floating math equations (that old story again huh?!)

Mario gains the ability to change perspective at will, switching from the normal side scrolling 2d view to a 3d view of the 2d “paper mario like” world

Switching camera from 2d to 3d is necessary. Some puzzles can only be solved by switching the camera to reveal new paths on a level

Wiimote is held sideways, 2 button is used to jump, A button to switch view.

Mario collects friends called Pixis that give him special abilities. These abilities make use of the Wiimote capabilities. One Pixi named Tippy allows you to point the Wiimote at the screen to learn more about enemies, or discover hidden passages.

Shaking the Wiimote at the right time when you jump on an enemy allows you to get more points

Graphics have received a noticeable upgrade since E3 videos

Has anyone went to Costco recently? I read on another forum that they have Super Monkey Ball for $34 after an instant rebate. Can anyone confirm?

I thought of this as well. I guess it'll work as long as they map the "Shaking the Wiimote at the right time when you jump on an enemy allows you to get more points" action to one of the other buttons, it should be ok.

Looks like we have an A lister for April now. Nintendo is holding their end up, now the third parties need to step up.

From Kotaku
Word from the latest issue of Nintendo Power dates the next Mario platformer-RPG—dubbed Super Paper Mario—to hit the Wii a little earlier than expected. The game is now due to hit store shelves in April, delayed after shifting platforms from the long-dead Gamecube to the Wii.
So:
January: Wario Ware
February: WiiPlay
March: Mario Party
April: Super Paper Mario

Add to those, Mario Galaxy, Metroid & SSB and you have a first party title 7 of the 12 months this year. I bet they still have a couple up their sleeves as well.

I think Super Mario Strikers Wii and Battalion Wars 2 are supposed to come out sometime soon as well. And yeah, there's probably a few we haven't heard much about.

So... now that I have my Wii and it's set up... a question.

What are the advantages to turning on WiiConnect24? Have it off for now, want to know any reason I should leave it on.
