Sorry. Didn't know that. If that's the case, I will refrain from mentioning it in the future. Personally though, some of the return/rebuy/borderline coupon abuse schemes I've read in these forums seem a lot worse to me from a moral standpoint than what I did.

Saw the new Prince of Persia game (360 only) for $13.xx today. It was still $19.99 for the other systems. Still can't believe how fast this one dropped.

lol what? That is frowned upon? I don't think too many people will be frown upon this when I know many on this board have jumped on obvious price errors to try and get a sweet deal. I mean how many people go in and buy something a week early, when they know that item is going to be on sale, then return it..to get the discount? Just so they don't have to deal with showing up at 8am and fighting 100 people for that item?

This happens everywhere on this board.

At the very worst this is merely a compelling scavenger hunt. The next time you guys can't find a game in its rightful place, check the diapers!

This, IMO, doesn't even qualify as shady. You want to read shady, go read any CAG thread. This is good clean fun.

I prefer dishwashers. Less turnover.

That's just utilizing the price match policy... And I only warned him as some folks around here seem to jump on this type of thing. Personally I don't care.

Re: Target VG Clearance HUGE !!! YMMV

Stopped by last night and was surprised to see a ton of shit on clearance this time. Most of the stuff was only 15% off though but at least it's a start. Must be making room for holiday releases.

They did have Bioshock 2 LE for $48.xx

I don't think anyone actually frowns on that, it's smart and goes to show how lazy the store workers can be.

Speak for urself. I think its shady. Just because a) you dont have the money or b) you dont want to spend that much on that game, you shouldnt take the opportunity away from another gamer who would pay that much. I dont understand the comment about the laziness of store workers. Do you really believe they have the time to look behind every item in the store to look for items that selfish people hid?

Alpha Protocol (PS3) - 14.98

I know the reviews were crap, but I've heard some people here really liked it, so I figured it was worth the risk at this price. They also had the 360 version for the same price.

BioShock 2 SE for $17.48 at a store in St. Louis. 360 and PS3. I'm psyched--been wanting to play this one for a while.

Brentwood. One of each left at 11:00. Outer sleeve on the 360 copy is beat to hell.

Make sure you consider the DLC that's on sale this week, especially Minerva's Den.

Re: Target VG Clearance HUGE !!! YMMV

Yeah, I was gonna ask about that. What do I need to get if I'm only interested in single-player? Minerva's isn't on sale, is it?

Re: Target VG Clearance HUGE !!! YMMV

Oh, I guess not. My bad, I just assumed it would be since, you know, it exists.

Really that's essential, but you can wait for a sale since you have the main game. The Protector Trials is also single-player, but kinda meh. You might check the thread for impressions on those.

Everything else is MP.

Re: Target VG Clearance HUGE !!! YMMV

Right on. I'll wait on Minerva's and may look into the Trials, I don't know. Thanks.
