A MAJOR heads-up to all of you.
Was at Target on Sepulveda Blvd. in Van Nuys (So. Cal.) last night and was checking out the VG clearance end cap. Saw the usual assortments of games filed next to each other and noticed something I thought I'd never see at a Target, let alone on a clearance end cap- Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Collector's Edition.
The best bit about this...it was $49.99, down from $99.99! This is a major YMMV deal. The store item number is: 207-24-0066.
For those of you in the San Fernando Valley area (So. Cal.) here is a listing of the stores that might have one of these as of last night. And trust me do not call them, they will have no idea what you're talking about. However if you do, just give them the item number listed above.
Granada Hills. Called them last night to check their inventory. The clerk was seemingly brain-dead. Check inside the store.
Northridge. Called them last night. Clerk had no idea he even carried the item and tried to convince me that Target would never carry such an item.
Pacoima. Called them last night. Clerk checked and found the item. Held it for me. His facial expression was priceless when he scanned it. BTW, I know for a fact there is another one at this location.
Burbank. Called then last night. Clerk checked and was unable to locate the item on the end cap.
***If you plan on going to one of these locations above or any location(s) around you that may have this item, look under the cases that house the normal PS3 inventory. Apparently, they are getting placed under there and forgotten about by the electronics clerks that maintain that department.

This would be a good time to visit your local Target. Not so much for the clearanced games, but for the returned Online items. Once somebody returns an online item in the store, it seems they just want to give it away. This is very YMMV, of course, but I just picked the new Tintin game, MSRP $39.99, for $10.06. The clerk I checked out with told me they were selling $100+ Lego Star Wars sets for like $20.

They're with the Clearance items. I found an iCade Cabinet for $48 yesterday, but decided I needed the space more than I needed that. The Online returns have a sticker that says "Online Item" on them.

I know. That wasn't a mind-blowing deal and that's one of the reasons I didn't get it.
But I did grab that Tintin game and it's surprisingly good for a movie tie-in. It plays kind of like the original Prince of Persia (before the time-rewind and wall-running). Probably too easy for those who don't have kids, but a really solid game for kids who want to try a platformer that's not too tough.

Some new clearance deals at Target, mostly 360 stuff. Picked up Castlevania for $9 and Alice for $13. They also had a ton of copies of Bulletstorm's for $9, but I picked that one up at Best Buy for $5 with their Gamer coupon this month.

Found NFS: Hot Pursuit for about $12 at a few of the Targets in the Baltimore Area. Kids and I are having a lot of fun with that one.
