Wow! This game looks fantastic. I had low expectations when the first was announced and was blown away... this looks like it's ramping up in every way.

Is it just me, or did they change the model for Harley's face? It looks really different (and not just because she replaced the eye mask with paint).

Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum Sequel
This game looks F'N amazing. From what I have read they started working on this before the first one was even released, hence some of the hints in Arkham Asylum about this game. (Such as the hidden Map, characters mentioned that arn't seen ...)
I think the spoilers thrown out so far are not even the tip of the iceberg of what it coming our way. Most of them will probably be shown right in the demo. I'm sad that we have to wait another year, but they have a long time to polish this one to perfection, or even start working on a third game.

Batman: Arkham City adds interrogation to detective skillset
![](http://imgur.com/1kNah.jpg)
In the latest issue of the UK's PSM3 magazine, Batman: Arkham City director Sefton Hill outlined an upgrade to Batman's "Detective Mode" designed to help him extract information. Batman will now be able to scan a criminal database to find likely informants among henchmen, and then interrogate them to get what he needs -- like extra Riddler clues.
"The Riddler continues to taunt the Dark Knight with mind-bending puzzles and exploration challenges," Hill said, "but the location of his biggest secrets are known only to him and people he's told. Rather than unlocking their locations using maps, Batman will be able to scan a gang of thugs to find a potential informant."
We're excited about the new gameplay mechanic -- as well as the challenge, described by Hill, of making sure not to knock out the one guy in a crowd you need to talk to. But mostly we're happy for the Riddler. He's well on his way to figuring out the secret to successful crime: not immediately giving the world's greatest detective any clues about how to find your stash.

Heck yeah. I am a major Batfanatic. I have played through the first game well over a dozen times. I have over 1,500 Batman comics, pretty much every single Batman related comic since the 1985 Crisis on Infinite Earths reboot. This is easily my most wanted game.

Late response to this but Batman had this ability in the XBOX Batman Begins game. You would question them and kinda rough them up until they gave up all their info...then you'd knock them out.

I can't wait for this game.

Not surprising that this game is looking really good. I appreciate different aspects of Bat's rogues getting some screen time. I love the classics, but there are so many other baddies to choose from than Joker, Riddler, and Two-Face.
I hope they work in Killer Moth or Firefly into this game. That would be BOSS!

Looks like no multiplayer -

IGN: Now, give us a Valentine's Day gift and tell us SOMETHING about multiplayer. You know that the couple that plays together stays together – and that works for friends or significant others. What's going on with multiple players in Arkham City? Co-op? competitive? We must know!
Sefton Hill: There have been a number of rumors circulating about a multiplayer mode in Batman: Arkham City so let me start by saying, once and for all, that Batman: Arkham City is a "single-player only" experience.
Our thought process behind this was fairly simple: when we investigated adding multiplayer we asked, "If we use all of the energy that is required to create multiplayer and instead focus this on the single player, would that deliver a better overall game?"
With the game now coming to the final stages, I can honestly say it would not have been possible to deliver Arkham City the way we wanted to if we'd have added multiplayer.
So it might not be the fashionable choice, it might not get us an extra tick on the box, but we are convinced, and we hope that gamers will agree when they get to play the finished game, that we have made the right decision.
