Just like in MW3, if you have three bars, you are at a huge disadvantage. Three bars was fine in MW1 and MW2, but not any more.

So, I've come across my first complaint. I have the Escort Drone equipped...and as soon as I die, then respawn...it comes charging at me and murders me through some sort of glitch or something. Very bizarre.

lol!

the other day I got a dragon fire, but no matter where I tried to deploy it I kept getting a message saying I couldn't. I was even standing in the middle of a completely open space and it wouldn't let me deploy it.

The end credits cutscene is ridiculous.

Had this happen over and over to me. Couldn't use it the entire match. Had the Escort Drone glitch too, it killed me 5 times and never did a damn thing. Still just struggling to go even some matches and absolutely destroying others. Just not a good game experience and I'm wondering why I even bothered ranking and prestiging the first week.

My current biggest annoyance (other than three bars being a huge disadvantage):

Getting the "waiting for more players in order to balance teams" message when the lobby is already full.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

Just went on a nice run after getting the silencer for the SCAR. I wasn't doing terrible without it but I wasn't doing good either. In my last 9 matches(all TDM) before getting the silencer I went 121-78. That is a 1.5 ratio while averaging 13.4 kills and 8.6 deaths per match. My next 9 matches after the silencer I went 158-40. That is 3.95 ratio while averaging 16.6 kills and 4.4 deaths.

If you can consistently do well without a silencer I salute you but I won't be rolling without one very often from here on out.

^What the hell? They offer a map as a pre-order incentive and yank it a week after release? What the fuck is that all about?

I'm sure they pulled the Nuketown Lobby and will inergrate Nuketown into the normal lobbies. Nuketown 24/7 will return on one of the next double XP weekend.

So what game is better...mw3 or blops2? I want to put one of them on my Christmas list.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

Black Ops 2 is far more enjoyable to me, brings back the fun of MW2 honestly. Doesn't penalize those who love to get their murder on. Played a grip of Nuketown last night, had a game where I went 71-2...best game since MW2. Really enjoying this game outside of the drone kamikaze glitch, which will get a patch eventually.

I'd go with BLOP2 as well. It has its fair share of launch problems right now but Treyarch has always been great about supporting/fixing/tweaking their games. I'm willing to bet by X-mas things will be running much more smoothly.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

If both were finished products, MW3 would win by a mile. Blops 2 is far more frustrating. When you get 5 hit markers on a player only to have them turn around, shoot you once, and die...yeah. Then watch the killcam and pull your hair out. Go 29-38 that round. Next round go 50-12 against the same players and team. I have a 50/10 internet connection too, it doesn't help. Hopefully all the bugs will be resolved before I get annoyed and quit. It seems like other people must be getting the advantage the majority of the time, and I completely understand why they're enjoying it.

This is exactly my experience. At least in MW3 when I got owned, usually it was someone who was really good. In this game, I can absolutely dominate one match, and the next I'm emptying full clips and can't even faze people.

I knew I should have avoided this game after the first one, but I'm a sucker.

Yep. Pretty much 98% of the time in MW3 I go "Well, the better man won that one." In this, I'm just frustrated. I started off my first venture into this series late in blops 1 and sucked. Controller FPS just weren't for me and I did bad. I did pretty bad at the start of MW3 and hated it but eventually went on to a 1.5KDR and a 3:1 Win/loss, getting a 99 win streak. Did a 2:1 start to finish KDR on blops in 10 hours a few weeks ago feeling like I redeemed myself. Now I'm just plain getting screwed on blops 2 and struggling to keep my head above 1.0. So frustrating that I'm rarely getting the easy games and usually getting the tough ones.

That happens all the time in MW3.

Rarely if ever for me on both ps3 and 360. Especially when my example is using a high fire rate SMG. I feel like I'm using a nerfed pp90m1 with half the fire rate even when I'm using the skorpion with good perks on black ops 2. I understand you're dominating on this game currently but I feel like it's a connection issue. I've dropped hundreds of moab's in mw3 and feel like even getting in the teens of a kill streak would be a true achievement in blops 2. One of my favorite people to play with pretty much quit today forever because he is barely positive after going 4:1 black ops and even better MW3 with a win ratio of well over 4. I've never met someone that dominates so much on the others and is struggling almost as much as I am.

Totally agree. I felt like a lot in MW3 was an agonizing struggle. The game was still very enjoyable, but definitely got the least play out of any CoD from me so far.

Yep. I had that problem in MW3, got frustrated, and sold it. I get the same thing in this one as well. I didn't play the first Black Ops, but I know I didn't have these problems in MW2. After the frustration-fest of MW3, I went back to MW2 and it was like night-and-day when compared to MW3.

Treyarch has always done a better job of supporting their games than IW. So I would expect the connections in BLOPS2 to get a little better.

This, it's ridiculous, one game I'm the top player on my team, the next I'm in the bottom somewhere. Even unloading almost a full clip on a player to have them turn around and shoot me once with a handgun and have me killed.
Also spawns, it's quite normal to be spawned somewhere and be shot in the back only a few seconds later.
I really enjoyed MW3, as it seemed a better experiece for multiplayer. This game is absolutely horrible in that aspect.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (November 2012)

Got this with my Wii U yesterday. Is there a way to do local 2-player co-op on the Campaign or only Zombie mode and multiplayer maps?

I'm a little disappointed in the Zombie mode. I like that they now have a few maps to choose from but their so small. I liked that you could progress through the stage as you went up in rounds in the first game. Now you just open the 1 or 2 doors the stage has and hunker down near ammo and Quick Revives.
