and The Extermination bounty: Defeat 25 Hive Knights and Wizards, then bring proof of their demise to Eris, In Patrol, defeat the Heart of Crota in the Refinery, Hand of Crota in the Lunar Complex, and Eyes of Crota in the Terrestrial Complex, Hunt and kill Omnigul in the Will of Crota strike.
or you can just join someone who has completed those tasks. I have completed it on 2 characters but I usually end up joining someone to complete my 3rd character.

Another week down the drains. This was the most boring and unfun nf/weekly I have ever played. No burn makes them very tedious. NF rewards; Legendary Heavy Engram(turned in to two shards) and Legendary Auto rifle(2 energy) 2 full Crota runs, got my 2nd Monte Carlo, and all gear with worse stats. Dead Orbit package gave me a hunter chest piece(I run 2 warlocks) No real desire to run Iron Banner, the only weapon that is semi interesting is the Scout, and it has roughly the same stats as Fang. Still no Crux, Sparrow or Normal ship

I will be on Iron Banner this week trying to get the boots so I can be 32 (no interest in doing the new raid over and over and over). Join me if you see me.

but hey I guess if you like to do the IB over and over more power to you
** disclaimer
you know I like MP and IB but it really can be/is almost less effort to just get your leg armor via the raid

What time do you usually play? I'm running it this week for the same reason (I'd also like to get to 5 and pick up the scout rifle).

Shit Bus, we could 2-4 man the lamps and bridge on normal, depending on which class you're talking about. Won't take 30 minutes.

I'd be interested in that as well. I need chest and leg armor for all three classes. I want to get at least one of them to 32 soon so I can have a crack at that hand cannon.

Re: Bungie - Destiny
I might be able to help you guys out tonight once I play with my newly built Archwing a bit.
I'll probably just run hunter for you (or warlock if needed on the bridge), and seriously, those two parts shouldn't take 10 minutes each. The bridge is slightly easier if we have a fourth FWIW.

Shit, if the C Team can 4 man the bridge without being too distracted, anyone can.

Even I knock out my raids on Tuesdays, and I despise this game. I've been doing them on normal for Hunger of Crotas (now have 2) and shards, and all 3 take a couple of hours total even with randos on LFG.

Finally played through a full Vault of Glass on normal with some friends. I have no idea how a person is supposed to figure out half that place without any help. I wouldn't consoder it smart or challenging, but rather ill conceived. If a random person can't figure out what to do you have a problem.
Example: assume you beat Oracles and the first gatekeeper. How would you possibly have any clue your next step is to go through a hole in a wall, then find a crack, squeeze through and drop through layers of cliffs. If you do that anywhere else in the game you a forbidden and could even die. Yet here it's required. If the rest of the game allowed for that type of exploration they'd at least be consistent.

I actually really like Vault of Glass, and I don't like much about this game these days.
Edit: It's just a shame there's no reason whatsoever to play CoG anymore. They need to fix that in the next update. Badly.

In the meantime, here are some of the other things you’ll enjoy when we deliver fresh bullet points to the Updates blog:
Xûr will stop forgetting to bring his Exotic engrams when he visits us from… wherever Xûr is from.
Iron Banner will work as previously promised, with a greater variety of maps in rotation as well as a couple of new Bounties that give you more control over which weapon you can use to complete them – and we were hoping that one would have arrived before the current event.
Strikes and Crucible Maps will be less likely to repeat themselves when you stay in a matchmaking playlist with your Fireteam.
Grimoire Cards will drop when you expect them to.

Re: Bungie - Destiny
So earlier tonight the Daggers got together for their Thursday night VOG run, and I was asked what I thought Xur would have for sale this week. My response: Crap.
When this answer was not deemed acceptable, I elaborated. My predictions were: Young Ahamkara's Spine, No Backup Plans, Voidfang Vestments, no engram, no heavy ammo, and No Land Beyond.
This week's Xur Report is brought to by Me, who correctly guessed two of these!
Xur is located in Center Tower, next to the Crucible Quartermaster.
This week, Xur is offering some things he hasn't offered in a while, including one that hasn't been offered since week 6. On the other hand, well, again, I got two of those things up above correct.
For the Titan, it's the Crest Of Alpha Lupi Chest. It's good for revives, and has intellect.
For the Hunter, it's Radiant Dance Machines. If you need Level 36 boots, there you go. Dance monkey!
For the Warlock, it's Voidfang Vestments. Correct prediction! It's a good roll.
The Weapon is...No Fucking Land Beyond. Correct Prediction again.
Which means:
Heavy Ammo is back!!!!!!!! Buy a shitload! Seriously, what else you gonna be spending coins on?
The engram this week is....CHEST! For the first time since October, you have a shot at Praxic Fire through the craptarch! YAY!
Upgrades:
For the Hunter, it's the Knucklehead Radar and Symbiote Helmets
For the Titan, it's the Insurmountable Skullfort helmet and Crest Of Alpha Lupi Chest (The upgrade is the better roll here)
For the Warlock, it's Voidfang Vestments (first timer!, though you're better off buying the new one), and Sunbreakers.
Weapons (7 for PS this week):
Hard Light
Bad Juju
MIDA Multi-Tool
The Last Word
Invective
Plan C
Monte Carlo
So there you go. No more excuses for not having Heavy Ammo synth. Possible path to Praxic Fire. Nothing much else. With Voidfang Vestments finally made available for upgrade, every Level 300 exotic has been offered at least once (not counting the 323 Mythoclast of course, or the owned by one player Fate Of All Fools).
3 engrams bought so far:
Armamentarium
Lucky Raspberry
Lucky Raspberry
Mother. Fucker.

Re: Bungie - Destiny
Got Praxic Fire on my fourth engram. Guess it paid off to sit on all those motes for so long.
And I am buying all of the heavy ammo. All of it.
