I'm always amused when a title like Midway Arcade Origins makes the list; basically an emulator running inside an emulator.

There's typically been very little advanced notice on a 360 title coming to BC, aside from the initial launch announcement and some leaks, like Red Dead Redemption which became available by mistake for a short while, months before its official addition.

From a technological standpoint, there's nothing to stop it from being added. Also, Square Enix has other BC titles, so the publisher seems friendly to the concept. On the other hand, Tomb Raider one of their star properties, and there's currently no BC Tomb Raider titles, so they may hold off on BC to instead release a remastered version or bundle into a collection.

Also, keep in mind that there's hundreds of 360 titles that aren't BC yet, and MS apparently runs QA on each title, so there's a limit on the rate of release for BC titles, and there's no indication on how MS prioritizes titles.

Some more games coming to EA Access:

EA announced that Skate 3, as well as four other games, will be landing on their Access service over the next three months. Here's a breakdown of the games that the company announced.

Dead Space Ignition
Madden NFL 17
Skate 3
Zuma's Revenge

Madden NFL 17 seemed a given that the Super Bowl is just a few weeks away on February 5th and last year, EA made Madden NFL 16 available in the Vault right before last year's Super Bowl. Expect the same thing to happen this year (and every year forward).

Dead Space Ignition was an XBLA and PSN action puzzle game that was leveraged as a freebie if you pre-ordered Dead Space 2.

Zuma's Revenge is a tile-matching puzzle game where you try to keep a string of colorful marbles from reaching an end goal. The game was previously packaged in with the physical version of Plants vs. Zombies when it came out on Xbox 360.

No official dates have been given for the availability of any of the games, only the time frame of "the next three months." But expect Madden NFL 17 to be one of, if not the first.

Some leaked Scorpio whitepaper for tech heads that talks about things like no ESRAM, increased cache, and some scaling methods.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/di...ltra-hd-gaming

The whitepaper we've seen - dated to just after Scorpio's E3 reveal - only confirms no ESRAM, boosted L2 cache and support for memory compression technology. Beyond that, all we have to go on is Microsoft's stated 320GB/s bandwidth, eight CPU cores - plus a motherboard rendering strongly suggesting 12GB of GDDR5 memory. How the final spec will shape up remains to be seen, but from the whitepaper details to the Vega enhancements available to Microsoft, we should be a seeing a highly capable 4K contender.

On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime ($14.99 ERP) for free during the month of February. Project Cars Digital Edition ($29.99 ERP) will be available as a free download from February 16th to March 15th.

On Xbox 360, starting Wednesday, February 1st, Monkey Island 2: SE ($9.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through February 15th. Then on February 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Star Wars: The Force Unleashed ($19.99 ERP) for free through February 28th.
I heard Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is good.

Whew, I came thisclose to buying Dangerous Spacetime last weekend in the PSN Flash Sale.

I already have a disc of Project Cars from Best Buy I got months ago for $8, but it will be nice to have a digital version.

Alice Returns was added to backwards compatibility. I still haven't played my copy, so I'll fire it up soon.

Yeah, I installed my copy a couple of nights ago when the announcement was made. But I haven't played it yet...just made sure it booted up and the DLC, the original Alice loaded fine. (It did)

By the way, for those who don't know...the original Alice DLC is free to download . Yeah, it's been free for a few years but for those of us (like me) that bought the game a long time ago (and at that point made sure our copies of Alice Madness Returns were new), it might still be news.

Hello

First off is anyone playing the Van Helsing game, would you compare it to a variation of a "Diablo" type of game and is it for both console and PC? I saw a bit of the trailer part and said it looked a bit fun but like Diablo probably plays better in co-op than SP.

The current GWG one is a tower defense game. The original is the Diable clone.

Deathtrap is the best game I have played this year so far. It is a tower defense game, but with a Diablo loot system, and your character that you level up. You can not use just tower traps to win, you have to engage in active combat like you would in Diablo with your classes. The tower defense part is only half of what the game offers. It really is as if Diablo had a baby with a tower defense game. I have put easily over 100 hours into it already.

^ Sounds a little bit like the lots-of-fun Orcs Must Die, one of my rare actually played games of recent vintage.

Gotta love these game install times. Thought, hey wife and daughter will be gone for 3 hours today and I have a free game rental code from redbox. I think I'll try to check out Titanfall 2 for a few hours. 2+ hours later, "wait for the game to finish installing to continue". On their way home and played a total of 15 minutes. Haven't even made it through the training.

Yep. Picked up COD: Infinite Warfare Legacy Ed. for the XO a couple of weeks ago and finally got around to installing it today and as soon as I put the disc in it says there is a 68gb update. I am assuming a majority of this is to download MW Remastered, but wtf? I bought the disc with the expectations that it would be disc based. That's nearly half my dsl limit for the month.

That it did, and it works with all editions including the separate discs (one disc for the main game, separately sold disc for the DLC games) and the complete edition.

Too bad, it is slowly coming back to me how annoyed I got with this game. , plenty of other 360 BC games worth playing instead. Personally, I think I would be more excited if San Andreas hit BC.
