June's Games With Gold :
Get ready to enjoy some great Games with Gold in June! On Xbox One, rescue Sequin Land once more in the ridiculously fun platformer Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse and fix your customers a drink in the engaging Coffee Talk. On the Xbox 360, and Xbox One via Backward Compatibility, invade the Earth in the sci-fi madcap adventure Destroy All Humans! and challenge your reflexes in the fast-paced shooter Sine Mora

Destroy All Humans looks cool and, ironically, I never played it back in the day... that said, it's being remade for X1 later this year.

Folks don't miss Sine Mora at the back half of the month. It's a really outstanding Shmup that really hasn't aged at all.

Note that according to Microsoft anything you redeem in this manner will be attached to the first account that redeems it. You also have the option to skip redemption during setup. To redeem those items later on you’ll need to navigate to your account, and then find a menu option labeled “Included with this Xbox.” Alternately, you can also find that same menu option in your library under the “Full Library” tab.

I guess there's a question if it's all or nothing in terms of redemption, like if you can redeem some games and not others.

This has been posted on the official XBox website so I'm hoping that this is not an exclusive:

Add your card with the wrong exp date and CVC. Get the game. Delete the saved card. They aren’t charging anything to it.

Yep. I actually still have a long past expired card attached to my account, and although it asks me to pick the card to redeem the free titles, it never actually runs any kind of authorization against it.

Ha, I had a long expired card on there too but apparently they finally removed it or something.

I've never tried it but couldn't you also use a store bought VISA card? Toss like $5 on it, grab $4 worth of lunch on the way home and use the $1 VISA card as your permanent form of payment.
