Next Gen Holdouts: Buying current gen versions of games or waiting?
I'm planning on getting a PS4 during the 2014 holiday season. I've been wary of buying current gen games that are or will be coming to the next gen consoles (BF4, AC4:BF, Lego Marvel, etc.). However, I have broken down and bought Lego Marvel (not opened yet) and AC4:BF. I find myself not wanting to play those 2 games because maybe they will be better on the PS4 and I don't like finishing/playing games more than once. Once I "play through" a game, I'm usually done with it. I don't go back and replay.
So, I'm curious, what are other holdouts doing when it comes to those games that cross both generations? Are you buying the current gen versions, waiting for next gen or will buy both?
Or even to those who bought the next gen systems, did you buy both versions of certain games?
Thanks

I bought a PS4 but not a Xbox One (maybe next year). When Titanfall arrives, I plan on buying the 360 version unless it's revealed to be a shitty port.

I bought a graphics card instead of a console this time around, I'll just play that until the console prices drop and libraries expand.

I held off on Lego Marvel thinking I was going to buy an XBox One, but then ended up cancelling my order. I'm probably holding off on buying any new games on the older generation now until I get a new console. Luckily a lot of the games I can play on PC.

Within the last 2 months, I bought a WiiU and 3DS XL, so any plan for getting a PS4 is on hold. That and there's just no game I really want at this point. Whenever MGS5 is released for PS4, may be when I get one.
