The new Havoc maps are very cool. Expansive but fucking nice. The new co-op zombie game with the actors is fun but a little to disorganized in the way it's set-up. Granted, one has to coordinate with strangers on the mic but still. The graphics, dialogue, and gameplay are very cool, though.

I was only able to play through the sideshow and drift map. The drift map is pretty hilarious, because of the avalanche that will crush you if you don't run into the mall. It's an outside mall next to a mountainside.

People seem to like the Sideshow map the most, it seems.

The Core map is huge, or feels huge, you can get lost there.

I like the Urban map the best. It's small and easy to internalize. I would agree that the Core map is the biggest. The Drift map is hilarious when the avalanche comes through. The Sideshow map is good, too.

I like the havoc dlc (and said what the hell and just bought the season pass) - the maps are definitely much different than the ones that came with the core game.

Just out of curiosity and I'm only asking this cause I don't have much time to play as of late....How are the guns you get as loot? You know, the customized ones you get after earning so many points or whatever? I ask cause I like to redeem them to rank up - never bothered trying them out and that's mainly because I don't think there's much difference in the weapons with this entry.

They most often slightly tweak a stat or two. I run with an unlocked sniper that has a slightly lower rate of fire but (-1) but has a +1 to damage. I have found I get less just hit markers with it than the other.

Negligible, but it is something.

A few of the Elite weapons are must haves. Hopefully you haven't redeemed the Obsidian Steed, Inferno, Speakeasy, Insanity, and probably a few others that improve the base gun greatly!

I don't usually like Youtubers, but Tmartn has a few videos comparing the different gun variants.

Thanks and now that you listed the ones form me to check out, I will give it a go - I only redeem items up to 1000xp - never sold anything that is 2000xp.

Also, and I'm just throwing this out there for anyone who doesn't know, when redeem loot and it's out of your inventory for good, it will all eventually come back as you play more which I thought was really cool.

I'm having a blast playing in Sideshow and Urban. I can pic fools off with the Bal 27 from a long ways away. The fancier versions of the gun continue to elude me, though. I started carrying a secondary sniper gun and that Bulldog gauge in another and they're hilarious when you blast on fools.

Sledgehammer posted on FB today that the DLC #2 will be released for the XBOX ONE 3/31. New weapons, the infected levels are getting new stuff as are the zombie levels. They're also adding the Grappling hook (or Grapple option) to the multiplayer game. I'm sure PS4 users will get the update a month after.

Still haven't finished that last round on Zombies to get the zombie character skin. I have all the equipment. No skin.

My fun class to use is

PDW Condensed (marksman version) Akimbo with Extended mags. Perks: Lightweight, fast hands, gungho, toughness and scavenger.

I've been pissing in peoples cheerios with that class.

The Ascendance dlc is pretty cool but the one grip that I'm sure many others have as well - the grapple ability is only available in the mixed modes playlist.

Still, I dig the new maps.

Haven't tried the new maps. Been obsessed with Zombies. Got to Lvl 32 the other night.

Does anyone else have problems running with the L3 button (PS4), or is it just my controller? Clicking to boost works fine, but holding it in to run is hit or miss. Sometimes I run, but sometimes my guy just runs two feet and stops (even when my "run meter" should be full.

Tonight was the first time I noticed this, but I guess there's been a glitch that allows for invincibility when using the Goliath at the beginning of a second round of a match:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/LIpnZugGKQA?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The player looks normal, but they're invincible and move like a Goliath.

Just downloaded the ascendance pack. How come I can only play the new zombie level online. No local play for that?

****figured it out****

I'm hearing, at least online, that there are "hacks?" I guess people are hacking for kills? Not sure. I did see one dude collect like 53 kills during a Domination and one other dude had a 31 kill streak. I've never seen that.

I wouldn't doubt it. This would be the first iteration where I haven't seen hacks of some kind. I can never understand how some people even figure this shit out... makes the game unplayable for me.

Saw this at Best Buy today. I'll pick it up once it gets cheaper since I already played through the main game and mostly want to check out the zombie stuff. Too bad it doesn't come with the full season pass.

All of the COD titles have been like this since Black Ops where the game gets a new UPC with a digital code redemption for the first leg of the DLC. It's just a way to move more units after the game has been out for five-to-six months.

Been playing the DLC Ascendance maps and they're pretty cool. My favorites are Site 244, Perplex, and Climate. I think the Chop Shop looks great but I'm not digging the navigation.

Re: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (Sledgehammer Games; 11/2014, PS3/PS4/360/XO/PC)

The maps are decent but dare I say, even for a game that takes place in the future and is suppose to have a bit of sci-fi in its maps...I think they go a little overboard on some...it's on a medium gripe but still a gripe.

With that said, I find myself just going into the regular map rotation - I get sick of playing the same maps over and over again in the DLC slots.

Any news on when the next round drops?
