There's your problem right there. You needed to e-mail them sixteen times!

Yea, since there will be such a huge run on the extra thousands they have on hand in the next 12 hours as part of a pre-order promotion.

I'm beginning to doubt that disney will put up a coupon for Up. Guess I'll check again before work.

Re: Up and Monsters, Inc. deals (Part 2)

Tomorrow is the big day. Going to Best Buy. I have $7.50 down on Up. I'm gonna have them pricematch their website...so...

$19.99 (Up Pricematched from BB Website)
-$7.50 (down payment)
= $12.49

then...

$18.99 (Monsters Inc.)
-$8.00 (Disney Manufacturers Coupon)
=$10.99

so,

$12.49
+ 10.99
=$23.48 (for both Up and Monsters Inc.)

Stellar deal.

Stellar deal.

That's assuming there's not a coupon for Up tomorrow morning... could be an even stellar-er deal if there is one!

Well, I'm going to check at 9:00p our time (Pacific - making it Midnight on the East Coast) and again at Midnight our time to see if the site's gone live at that point. If not, guess I'll have to wait until I wake up tomorrow morning to see if our hopes/dreams/prayers have been answered that that lone post was correct....

I hope Up is still $19.99 tomorrow on bestbuy's website. Doesn't seem to make sense that they'd have a different store price.

don't know how many times it must be said but unless you value the steelbook as a $7.50 value alone you cannot deduct 7.50 you have already put out from the 19.99 price and claim you are paying 12.49

If Disney comes out with a $10 coupon for UP, Where(website?) would you get the coupon?

With the $10 coupon for UP finally confirmed, I might cancel my Amazon order to get away from the hassle of convincing CS to apply the millions of coupons and use Disney's coupons instead."

Re: Up and Monsters, Inc. deals (Part 2)

if the Up $10 off coupon comes through AND if bestbuy.com keeps the Up price at $19.99 tomorrow, I'll just go to bestbuy and have them pm the site to get Up for $10. The whole Target pming scenario sounds like a lot of hassle for a movie I already bought on DVD.

It's your choice but I don't see how you can conveniently ignore your $7.50 deposit in calculating the actual price of the item. Unless you found the $7.50 in the parking lot on the way into the store.

That is pretty amazing. I guess they are trying to make it the biggest selling Blu-ray of all time.

I just think of the $7.50 as money spent a month ago on lunch or something. It's meaningless. Tomorrow, when I leave Best Buy, I will have spent the money that I calculated out a few posts ago... I don't think about that $7.50 anymore.

And now that there is gonna be an Up coupon, it's even sweeter.

Well, that little blurb you quoted from me was actually part of moviewizguy's post, but still - I'm really hoping they're going to continue their trend of putting these $10 coupons out there. I mean, why would they hold out on this movie, when they've offered a coupon for so many others in recent months??
