Thanks man! I am hoping to be able to use that 20% on a pre-order of Zatoichi by the way... that'd make it an incredible deal.

Are these 15/20 coupons going to be in-store? Someone on Blu-ray.com posted another online 15% coupon that goes live tomorrow.

Thanks for that, Laser Movies!

I used the 15% off non-members coupon and got it for $36 after tax. Not too shabby!

Thanks Laser from my side too. Used the 15% off and saved the 20% for another possible trip during this month to the store. Don't feel guilty about this as it will be this price for the 50% off sale anyways - could have saved another $6 in store with the additional 10% but worth the convenience of having it shipped.

There are going to be some 15% and 20% online/store coupons coming Thursday. Probably the usual unique code variety that require being signed up and receiving coupon email offers directly from B&N, or else you will have to get one from someone that has extra coupons to spare, or plan not to use one this week.

There are also several generic online codes available for all customers. One for 15% off is valid now you can use. Thursday there are another 20% and 15% off online coupons coming that everyone can use. Most likely they will get activated sometime tomorrow.

Just learned there are now coupon restrictions online, and the Rosellini/Bergman set had the price corrected to $49.99. That deal is officially dead.

There are coupon restrictions online, meaning we can't use coupons online at all?

No, just not on sale items. Follows the practice of previous sales. Best bargains are in-store during CC sale.

My B&N won't honor coupons. Did use the $75 GC trick though.

I said fuck it and went to order Zatoichi without coupons, but using the $75 GC. When I try to check out, it says my zip code doesn't match my city or state, even though it's absolutely the correct zip code. At this point, if I could just return the $75 GC, I would. This is absurd.

Edit: Okay, signing out and signing back in fixed it. Fucking bizarre.

You should just wait until 11/26 to get Zatoichi set. In-store, you will get an additional 10% off with membership plus whatever coupons they will allow. At least, they should let you use the $8 coupon. Add 'em up, it's a big savings to be patient like grasshopper.

This sounds like a lame excuse, but I genuinely don't have time to go to the store, and if I get a shitty clerk who won't stack coupons, then I'll have spent time and money for gas on top of it.

Not sure that some/most/any stores are getting this for theshelves. I tried ordering one tonight while picking up the 1st items that were available that I wanted and was told that the only way to get it was to pre-pay in full (system prompted it when she tried to place the order for me). Doing this may also knock off the ability to use coupons as it then, according to them, may work the same as an online order/pre-order. They weren't sure, as this was the 1st time they'd had this issue arise. Ugh.

Between full time work and school, the convenience of home shipping trumps the savings. I'm already getting it for 50% off.

This is my attitude, too. I don't have much free time over the weekend, and I sure as hell don't want to spend part of it at B&N looking for a big box set that may or may not be there, and to use coupons that may or may not work, nor do I want to sign up for a membership to use other coupons that may or may not work as well.

Only thing I really wanted to pick up was the Zatoichi set; sucks I can't use coupons, but 50% off is already a damn good deal.

Now, that being said, if Amazon price matches them, then I will be dumping my B&N order and going with them instead, partially due to Prime.

Love how people don't have time to spend 5 minutes in a Barnes and Noble because of their "busy lifestyle" but have time to watch a 25 movie boxset.

Who said anything about watching them?
