re: [DEAD] Warner Archive Sale - 4 for $44 + Free Shipping

Currently there are no preorders listed for the Warner Archive at the WB Shop. As there have been announcements for April releases, this increases speculation that the WB shop will stop selling Warner Archive titles and/or shut down completely.

re: [DEAD] Warner Archive Sale - 4 for $44 + Free Shipping

Still waiting. So far only got a notice on 3/15 that my 9 title order was received. Each title says it will ship within 25 business days.

Guess that's what I get for waiting until the last minute. Sigh...

At least I was able to take advantage of the SHOPWB15 discount. Saved me almost $15.

Sad to see those 4/$44 sales go away. They were how I bought most of my WB titles.

i placed my order on 3/12. Haven't heard anything since they sent the email about delays on 3/17. Still, on that email they said that the delays will be at most 15 business days.

This morning I discovered my bookmark to the WBshop is gone and replaced by something called shopify. Having trouble to get to Warner Archive and check the status of my order from the last 4 for $44 sale. Anyone have the new link or url ?

Shopify is the e-commerce software the store used. As previously stated the WBShop seemed to be shutting down. It was not run by WB. It was licensed.

Warner Archive just posted about a new Amazon Shop:

Understood. However, it now seems you are locked out for checking the status of the orders you placed in March. Maybe it will clear up in a few days. Maybe I'll get an e-mail update. Maybe the order will suddenly appear. But that's too many maybes' for
my liking

Are you able to click on track order status from your email confirmation?

No. Clicking view my order on the e-mail confirmation just brings me to that useless shopify page. No idea where to go if my order remains in limbo. It was quite a large order as well

I'm glad I passed on this one. The stress of whether the order will ship at all is more than the sale is worth.

The new Amazon shop mentioned above is part of a Warner Bros Media shop with a section for the Archive.

Got that same e-mail message today
Very glad I ordered since that price will not be beaten (got the extra 20% off on top of the sale price). The wait is frustrating but in the future it will be forgotten and I'll be enjoying those films. The ones I picked cannot be found via streaming, YouTube or any other method. Got to remember that they probably had a massive response to a final sale and since these are MODs, they are not simply picked off from a shelf

Are people still waiting on orders like me? I made a large order at the last minute and received nothing so far.

Quite few. When or how large doesn't seem to be playing much of a role, but what is in the order seems to be the major factor as AT LAST INFORMATION which has been a while now, several fairly popular items like Sgt York were on backorder. BunyipPouch on Bluray compiled a list of the items most commonly on the non-shipped orders and included
  • The Best Years of Our Lives
  • Performance
  • Jeremiah Johnson
  • The Curse of Frankenstein
  • Scarecrow
  • Drop Dead Gorgeous

Mine is on the way. Email and tracking # was received today and it should arrive early next week. It was a very, very large order being the final sale and 20% additional discount

I don't remember WAC even sending emails or tracking #'s. Loved the sale prices on blu, hated the cs.

I'm still waiting on my order as well. From that list of popularly ordered movies, I think I had three.

Yeah... I finally got my order (placed within the first 4 hours) a few weeks back (a week before they shut down the site). No shipping notice or tracking number - even on the site (while it was still up). It just showed up one day.

My large order arrived this morning via UPS. BTW-if you had opened an account with WB archives, a tracking number would be provided with your order, the tracking number was found on their website.
Now that they moved over to Amazon, I wonder if we would still receive their frequent e-mails of upcoming releases
A Few hours later: Yes got an e-mail previewing new, upcoming releases
