Yes, there so good, it is actually upsetting. I bought some recently at higher prices because they haven’t come down in years.

Best price for Creepshow. I've been waiting a really long time for that to drop. Amazon is still keeping it stubbornly high at $40.

Re: Shout / Scream Factory Blu-ray Sales

The site was struggling quite badly early on, but I hung in there and managed to place a very large order.I am still waiting for 1 title from an order placed roughly a month ago, and 6 from the Shout Select sale last week but I couldn't pass up these prices.

Re: Shout / Scream Factory Blu-ray Sales

I made a order of

The Entity
Death Becomes Her
Black Christmas
It's Alive Trilogy

All blind buys except for Black Christmas which I've seen once and enjoyed.

Tip: Use google chrome to check out. I used Firefox first and it didn't work AT ALL. Kept on going back to a loop of asking me to pick payment. Used chrome once and the order went through.

Re: Shout / Scream Factory Blu-ray Sales

Dammit. I should have snagged it earlier. The 50% off reduction probably attracted a lot since it's so expensive.

I hesitated a little because I already spent a lot on the F13 set.

Keep an eye out for Family Video sales. I got Creepshow for the same price there last year (after using a 20% off coupon, anyway).

The timing of this sale is a little tough, with the Friday the 13th box set coming out alongside so many retailers doing their Prime Day-style promotions and at least one B2G1F sale. I want to bite, but I want to get a full sense of what my options are.

Do some comparisons to Target right now, too. Their buy 2, get 1 free deal just started. If you have the right things to group together, it's a little bit cheaper (and more titles to choose from).

Amazon also has their Buy 3 for the price of 2 sale. I was able to get two titles there that sold out on the SF site.

Re: Shout / Scream Factory Blu-ray Sales

Got a shipping notification today for my Shocktober order. I'm still waiting on a title from an order placed in early September, but I'm impressed with how quickly this one shipped.

They should seriously consider moving this sale up a month (Shocktember?) since it's obviously a Halloween sale, and Shout seems to lack the ability to get these things shipped out until after Halloween has ended.

It's like waiting until January to ship Christmas items.

I wonder if Shout Factory is waiting for stock that gets sent back after Halloween from retailers.

I just got my Shout! shipment late last night from the USPS. I did get an e-mail. Nicely packed, -pristine, in fact...

Re: Shout / Scream Factory Blu-ray Sales

My Shocktober order arrived fairly quickly, much to my surprise. I am still waiting on a title ordered on September 18th however. I contacted them on October 22nd and was told their warehouse was unexpectedly back-ordered on that title and that they had no estimate about when they would have it back in.

am always conflicted because soon after they go OOP, select titles will find their way to Hamilton Books for half the price and half the time to buy while navigating scaplers' drool

EDIT: Caved in and ordered 20 titles. Its been one expen$ive year for me with physical media

Re: Shout / Scream Factory Blu-ray Sales

Did Return of the Living Dead and Carrie just go out of print? Or was it several months ago? Can't keep track.

Looks like they're losing their licenses to a lot of MGM stuff (Carrie, ROTLD, Invasion of the Body Snatchers), so anyone with MGM titles they need to buy should probably give those titles priority before it's too late.
