SON OF A BITCH.

I was just grabbing a few things I missed before and like some two bit magician, my discount is gone. What a fucking rip. It is only 10:09 PM. Ten minutes ago, I was still good. Fuck.

I've waited all this time to make an order, then when I finally do I get the prices hiked up at the order confirmation screen, a minute after midnight!

The worst part is my cart showed the 20% off and by the time I paid it was over. I didn't get the discount and now I gotta call and get my order canceled on Monday.

Looks that way. First time I've seen them end it on time. Good thing, I guess, as I was about to order. I had trimmed it down to about $65 after discount, but I really had no business spending it.

1) People tend to place about six "final" orders.
2) In the past, the sale hasn't ended right when it was slated to.

Still no excuse, though, especially since the site has been running flawlessly throughout, unlike past sales. I do find it funny that some people are huffing and puffing about DDD losing out on all their money. I used to be the same way, but then you realize how little they probably make on the sale and I doubt they're losing any sleep over you capitalizing on the sale.

My favorite part of the sale... the very end.

Anyway, I did place one last order for that popular storage unit. Hopefully I'll be able to put it together, I stink at that stuff.

Because they waited until the very last minute, thinking maybe they'd be able to take advantage of something after the advertised date.

Ain't it amazing? This sale could be a 364 day, 20 percent off sale and people would be singing the blues on day 365. People WAIT to try to beat the clock playing some death defying chicken type game with DDD at the end of each sale then bitch when they blinked first......ya had 8 days and ya blew it.

It's a matter of being upset with ourselves, not DDD. No need to preach.
Though some people seem to be still living on the 19th and they can't place an order.

Well, it looks like I was able to get in right before the sale ended. I ended up just buying a gift. Hopefully, next time I can buy for myself or maybe I'll get some DVDs for Christmas.

Curb Your Enthusiasm 1st Season $21.90

I was going to make one final order just for Rambo Ultimate Edition Part II. I initially was going to get the whole trilogy when it first came out, but I found Part III at Wal-mart for $5.50. Then I got Part I on sale at Target shortly after for $7.50, so I figured I'd pick up Part II for $7.50 or so and get them all for a little cheaper than buying the trilogy together.

I originally was going to have it in my first order, but I put everything I wanted in my shopping cart and decided not to order until the next day. However, when I loaded it up the next day, the shopping cart was empty. DDD had randomly just deleted most of the things from my wishlist/shopping cart, while putting several of them back in the wishlist for some unknown reason. I guess you can't keep stuff in the shopping cart for any length of time, unlike most places.

What sucks is my first order was so big, and I had a few blind buys...so now I don't know if I got all the stuff I originally wanted to get or not. I had Rambo II in my cart, but it was the last one I remembered that it erased and I didn't get. I wouldn't have remembered if I hadn't been reading the titles of everything from my previous 3 orders.

Ah well, no biggie. Maybe I'll pick it up cheap in a Black Friday sale. I needed to keep a little cash for that anyway. It's just a few days away. I spent more in this sale than I have ever spent before anway, about $655.xx. That Wrestlemania Anthology really bumps up the overall price.

No. That would've taken time out of my searching/buying dvds. Heh. I was just baffled as to why they don't have an automatic reply sent for people for forget their passwords. That's all.
