Received my first order yesterday. 10 lbs, $300 worth. I'm very happy to say that not a single box set was damaged in any way. No smashed corners, etc. Last time I had about 5 that I had to get replaced. I still have two more orders coming (not to mention any trickling in backorders), so I guess there is still time...

It usually takes between 2 - 3 weeks for my orders. And ever single order from DDD so far has been caught by customs. So I had to pay Tax + $5 rip off fee.

I think at least a couple of these titles are a mistake. The Exorcist title was discontinued for the "Version You've Never Seen" release, the Empire Records title was discontinued for the Fan Remix edition, and the Chariots of Fire release was discountinued for the two-disc widescreen release. A trip to dvdpricesearch shows that no other store has these in stock except DVDplanet (DDD sister store), and on Amazon used copies go for $20 for Exorcist and Empire Records, and $15 for the Chariots of Fire.

So either a small batch was found somewhere and DDD/DVDplanet's got 'em, or it was some kind of listing error. Has anyone received these titles yet or had a shipping confirmation on them?

Usually at least 2 weeks for me.

You almost always have to pay PST & GST plus a $5 handling fee if the order is over $20. If it's under that, you will likely not have to pay. It's too bad we don't get free shipping on all orders. Then we could split them into a bunch of orders under $20. Instead, you're better off to get as much as you can in a single order to avoid paying more than one $5 handing fee. What really sucks is when things are backordered and then sent a few pieces at a time. That $5 can really add up.
