I only went in/out quickly from Target, but I believe all the "Earl" sets were the limited edition sets. There were no sets without the 3D cover/poster.

Nope normal price. No bonus disc like the ones the usually charge extra.

It looks like the coasters at CC are single disc only. I bought the 2 disc they said they thought they were inside. Opened it, no coasters wanted to return it. They went looking for coasters 10 min later they came out with the 1-disc and asked if I wanted an exchange. No thanks I wanted the 2-disc, and they wouldn't except a return since I opened it. 30 minutes of my life wasted. Didn't want to raise hell over damn coasters.

slop101 did you go to the Tustin Market Place Target? I was planning to head over there in a bit, but if they don't have the ones with the booklet...

No, that's the Target by my house. I went to one by my work, in Santa Ana. Now I'm wondering if maybe they're just referring to the slip-cover that opens to photos as the "booklet" - if so, LAME. I haven't seen it at another store, so I don't know if all the slip-covers are the same.

Thanks, I guess I'll go to Target after work and buy this...

If they told you the coasters were inside, and they were not, they should have opened a one-disc set and given you the coasters. They could still return the opened one-disc it to the manufacturer as defective, so no money lost for them. Why should you get screwed for their mistake?

Don't ever buy anything at Target expecting a "bonus" item if there isn't anything on the packaging itself stating it's in there. Well, that goes for everywhere. Target is just the worst because they actually put those little labels on the display advertising the exclusives. I've never been sure how they get away with that. I noticed that none of the copies of "Knocked Up" had any indication there was a booklet at the Target I was at today. I checked two different Targets last week for the Brothers and Sisters bonus disc and neither had any, but they had that label stating it was included. Anyone that didn't know better would just trust their in-store advertisement and be in for a surprise...

It's just not worth my time any more. It would have taken 15 minutes more to try and explain this to them, and there was a long line due to Halo 3. I won't be going there for a long time. Best Buy is just 3 minutes down the road from them, they will getting my business for a long while. It's still a great dvd and will enjoy it, and not going to worry about it.

Well, when none of the dvds had a sticker stating if they had a bonus item, I just assumed they all did - it's happened before.

So has anyone bought this from Target and actually got a booklet?

Montclair CA Target - Went in, all the deluxe editions of Knocked Up looked the same, so I figured there was a book inside. No book. Took it back and they opened 2 more, and no books. Paid by check, wanted the entire transaction voided. Took them an hour to do so. I guess I'll have to go to Best Buy, but I'd rather find a Target in the local area that has the booklet because the 5 off 25 coupon helps out with the price as well.

I hope there's a Target nearby that has the editions with the booklets...

None at mine had a sticker, that's why didn't get it there. I got screwed at CC (see above) being told the extra was in the package. Don't know why I trusted one store not another, I'm a dumbass

Picked up Knocked Up from Target. Nothing on the cover stating there was a booklet, but I haven't opened it yet.

Picked up the Summerslam 2007 tin from FYE. It was on sale for $19.99. I also picked up the Hogan Knows Best Exclusive box set for $39.99.

Anyone who works in a Blockbuster get in the Summerslam 2007 for sale (w/ exclusive bonus disc)?

I went to the Tustin, CA Target and none of the Knocked Up slip cases had a label stating there was a booklet so I didn't bother.

Seems like Target screwed the pooch on this one - and we're the pooch. I mean, I probably would've gone to Best Buy (I have a gift-card), if it wasn't for this "freebie" at Target. So they basically got a few sales (I also got the new Foo Fighters) out of their boldfaced lie that they'd have a store-exclusive. Fuckers!

At Costco, buy Knocked Up: 2-Disc Unrated (mine had it for $21.59) and save $6 instantly when you also buy a selection of other titles. One's I saw/remember were: Parenthood (SE), 40 Year Old Virgin (Unrated) and The Break Up. I went for Parenthood. Those were $12.99 so it takes it down to $6.99. Not a great deal perhaps, but if you don't own those titles, might be worth it.

i got knocked up 2disc at target,
thinking that a booklet should be an easy sell over
cards & coasters.. *cough*

but i was immediately suspicious because there was no sticker,
& i assumed the booklet would be noticeable with a bigger sleeve..
(like how bestbuy packed doomsday with a comic)
i checked every version they had & all were the same,
i even went to a 2nd target & checked all theirs too..

this one guy i talked to was 1st saying they didnt have a 'target-exclusive',
& that everywhere has the same version (w/ the book),
but when i mentioned i shouldve maybe got it at bestbuy (w/ cards),
he immediately reversed & said that then i wouldnt get the book..?

i still havent opened it, came here to see what was up 1st..
is it possible target will be willing to fix this through a customer support line?
(like they did w/ the prison break s1 promos they also screwed up)

on a side note, im slightly annoyed that heigl
is only on the rated version cover.. -_-;

btw, is anyone looking for the target version of heroes?
theyve got 4 or 5 left over here still..
(if i had the money, id buy them just to sell on ebay)

I have not been in the store to verify all new exclusives; has anyone else been there?

Updated the first post with all above additions, and things I found myself today.

The coasters at CC are a huge add-on to the single disc case, you will definitely know it when you see it.

The two Targets I checked did not have the Knocked Up exclusive.

Wal-Mart has a bonus disc included with The Bronx is Burning. It is a 40 minute disc with interviews.

Sorry about the mis-information last week. The clerk at Circuit City told me that The Mist was a handout and not included in the case. I guess she was thinking about Chuck.

Actually, the sticker on the front states that it's an FYE/Suncoast Exclusive

Thanks for the Bronx info.

And no problem about last week, although it did cost me a lot of driving around and trying to talk with CC employees, which is always challenging.
