Thanks for posting this. I'm a little weary about whether they'll be in good condition, have their slipcovers, etc, but for this price I couldn't turn it down. I went through my WishList on DVDSpot, and whatever I could find for under 8 bucks, I added to my cart:

I picked up:

-"Traffic" (2-Disc) (Criterion Collection)
-"Enemy of the State" (Extended Cut)
-"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (2-Disc) (Collector's Edition)
-"Night At The Museum" (2-Disc)

Total after savings: $25.02, or around $3.13 per disc. I'll take it!

Edit: After reading through this thread, a lot of people ordered "Traffic" it seems. I'm praying they don't sell out and cancel my entire order.

How long does it normally take for these to get here? I assume being free shipping, a few weeks? And it sounds like most are in good shape? I'll definitely considering an order here.

My last free ship order was fedex ground.
About 3 business days.

Everyone remember they use that white
colored bubblewrap on many small orders.
Discs & cases can be jacked up.
While if you order 4 or more it usually
arrives in a box. Not always though.

As for condition. I believe my accepted
trade-ins of late, that they allow more
questionable items then in the past.

They are very easy to deal with
returns though..Also if you have
store credit no sales tax should be applied.

Thanks OP, I got a couple of nice deals from this sale. My last SecondSpin order included a loose disc (heavily scratched) and a box set with a defective disc in it. I hope I have better luck this time.

Has anyone tried using the coupon more than once? I just saw a couple of things I overlooked the first time around and wonder if I should bother?

Thanks OP. I just ordered:
Mobile Suit Gundam: 0080 - War in the Pocket: Complete Collection
Dark Water (Hideo Nakata Version)
Ringu: Anthology of Terror [4 Discs]
Yu Yu Hakusho: Second Wind [With Key Chain]
All for $35. Thanks! I've been wanting to buy some of this for a good while now and just couldn't justify the price to myself. Especially the Ringu Anthology set since I already own the first two on DVD (unfortunately, the other two films in the set aren't available individually!). I can now either sell the copies I do have or give them to a friend. In any case I feel as though this was a pretty good deal. I'm excited about getting them.

I might even make another order.

I've been wanting the Ringu set for what feels like forever. I never realized they finally re-released the other two separately. Damn it. Now I'm stuck paying more for the set in the end anyway...

Don't think these guys realize HD-DVD is dead.

Also, note that prices are already 20% more on wherehouse compared to secondspin on most used titles. not saying there are no bargains but the prices have been 'adjusted' for this sale.

this deal is especially awesome if you have a LOT of credit at any transworld location...I myself (as redundant as that sounds) have racked up about $300+ in in-store credit :-D so ill be splurging a little bit on this sale when the right time comes...

No idea where you are seeing prices with this type of difference. Both stores have always had price differences, but I haven't come across anything yet with this level of disparity - especially not 'most used titles'

I've seen some prices cheaper on wherehouse than secondspin. Nothing is adjusted.

I used to shop Wherehouse.com, but after I bought multiple Boxed Sets from them and saw the covers of the boxes mutilated by ripped off labels taking portions of the printed covers off. The discs were always in good shape, but to sell even used boxed sets with the boxes like that is disgraceful. I've never had this problem with Secondspin, so I either wait for their sale or DDs sale.

I've had a bit of store credit from trade-ins for some time and haven't really been able to find anything that's really been too great of a price either used or new. Decided to spend all of the store credit and a couple extra bucks to get this haul. I tried to keep it to things that would either never see the light of day on BD or take its time in getting there. Hope this helps some other people with store credit to burn with some ideas.

Ordered Death Cab for Cutie's We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes and New Pornographers' Electric Version on Fri and came today. They both look very new, like they opened a copy and slapped on a used sticker. Probably gonna order some more. Thanks for the heads up!
